i notice you were in Tapping? I know of 3 imports stolen recently in Darch, just around the corner. were they indigenous or white boys??
-
thanks 10 4, those pics make me feel much more comfortable with the sizes I chose. cheers
-
i have decided to go 18x9.5 +15 all round.
-
great thanks. do u think the fronts will sink in a little too much? rear tyres are Pirelli 255s so they may struggle to fit when lowered. rear guards will definately be lipped.

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
_8OO5TED_ replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
hi all. look at a set of 19s for my r33 sedan. Weds Kranze. fronts are 19x9 +25 wearing 235 tyres. rears are 19x10 +20 wearing 255 tyres. with those tyres, i assume the rears will be a tight squeeze. will i need anymore than lipped guards? dont mind the over-flush fitment. was planning to buy some camber arms for the front and rear. Cant imagine i would have alot of room for adjustment on the rear though. im worried the fronts might sink in too much. planning to lower the car a fair bit. cheers in advance. -
keen for round 3.

Hi All, I am about to buy a set of 19" Weds Kranze wheels. fronts are 19x9 +25 and the rears are 19x10 +20. rears will be a solid fitment, Im just not sure about the fronts. Is the offset too high?? Anyone have pics of an ECR33 with a x9 +25 wheel fitted?? cheers.

Can't find a Targa West 2011 thread?! 3 GTRs leading the pack after SS24. Steve Jones is 1:11 ahead of the Sims GTR from SA with local WA bloke Pete Rullo a further 41s back and tied with the Shannons Insurance sponsored Jimmy Richards GT2RS. Dean Evans is in 5th place in his Evo X, over 2mins behind Rullo & Richards. The big Datsuns are putting on a show, and surviving, this year

Hi All, My R33 recently arrived from Japan, I was hoping someone could explain what this is as my car is fitted with them http://kspec.co.jp/digicam/catalog/airstabilizer/index.html cheers!

Why would the DPI be on to all that? All the car has to be, is legal, when it goes over the pits. I took my Chaser over the pits with a catback exhaust, 17" wheels & coilovers when it was registered for the first time. This was about 15mths ago. I understand that for compliance it must be stock to be signed off, but getting it registered, I know it doesn't because my Chaser wasn't.

I have just imported a 1996 R33 GTS25t 5spd Sedan. It had a couple of minor susp mods, R32 GTR seats & wheels and some body bracing and stuff. It was a factory manual too. My reason for importing was that there was not enough decent manual 4drs in Perth particularly series 2's which is what i wanted. costs you ask? I used Ben @ J-Spec. Their fee is usually $1000 for their services. Mine was a little cheaper as it was the 3rd time I have used Ben. This is paid to have Ben start looking. He looked, he found, I liked, I bought! Car was 440,000FOB which at the time as just over $5200 AUD. I paid this which got the car on a boat, and heading towards Perth. Just before the car arrived at Fremantle port, I paid all the customs fees and transporting costs etc etc. this was $2742 AUD. Tomorrow the car will head to the compliance shop. The compliance cost is $2600 AUD. So far, thats bout $11500. on top of this is registration, new tyres and vehicle security (immobiliser/alarm). I envisage it costing me about $13000 on the road. The car is in great condition. A Grade 4 if you like. I could have bought a high KM, flogged out version in Perth for $10K, but I am glad I didnt.

pretty sure the previous owner bought them new. he had them approx 18mths. i have had them a couple of months so not very old. is there a difference pending on the age of them? kurb rash in pic stands out as wheels are black but they can easily be repaired. if i dont get anyone keen to buy these cheap, then i will eventually repair and keep. make me an offer!

if you are planning on putting these on a JZA80 Supra, might be worth looking in to whether they will fit or not with stock guards
