  1. cool, looks like there will be a few Aussies there then. Should be good. Finalised my Early Bird payment today also with a mate. Only thing on the itinerary I am unsure about is Top Fuel. They are a Honda tuning specialist. Hopefully its worth a look!
  2. ok, just booked a holiday to Japan, cash would be nice. make me a reasonable offer for your chance to own the #1 wheel in Japan!
  3. make me an offer, want these gone, but won't drop my pants too far!
  4. cool, would be good to have a few aussies there too
  5. Agressive fit for RWD Toyo/Nissan/Mazda and will fit very nicely on an Evo or GTR also. Tyres are Achillies ATR 235/35/19 and have done less than 2000kms. 1 wheel has kurb rash around 3/4s of the wheel, the other 3 have small bits of rash. there are no deep holes or anything, just minor gutter rash. wheels could be easily repaired and powder coated to be like new again. I would be willing to do this, at a higher cost though. Buying new will cost in excess of $5500 with brand new tyres. Also considering swap + cash my way for some 34GTR wheels. this is a pic of the 2 wheels withthe most curb rash. more pics. $3700 with tyres $3200 without tyres
  6. myself and a mate have submitted our registration for this. just need to book our flights and we will be there! Can't wait
  7. I am looking to head over and book this tour; http://www.dsporttas.com/ Last year looked really good. VIP entry to TAS, spend a day at Fuji Speedway and ride shotgun with local drifters. Visit Daikoku Futo. visit a few workshops, experience the nightlife and then come home. Sounds ideal to me! $1699US excluding flights if booked before 31/10/2010
  8. Cash waiting. Have PM'd, phoned and left a voice message. Keen to buy these wheels.
  9. I want these wheels. Still got them?
  10. What does your brother drive that is worth $850,000?
  11. 33 guards are alot bigger than 32 guards though. standard GTR offset is about the limit for a 9" wide rim on a stock guard 32 GTS-t.
  12. Do you think they are $2000 per wheel, $8000 for the set??? Its priced per set without tyres.....
  13. Hi, Id like to buy a cooler kit to suit JZX100 Chaser + postage to WA please. Please PM me total price and payment details. Cheers!
  14. its was so obvious that Quinns car had a modified exhaust, especially when it was basically following Jonesys car all weekend and that sounded like a vacuum cleaner
  15. this will be worth watching, i will be there with Jack
  16. i thought it looked alot better than a stock CPV35. nothing like a R35 GTR though. that C-Red Laurel has changed a bit, wheres the RB25 gone!! is it a VH45 now?
  17. sold my r33 gts25t and got a 6spd TT VVT-i Supra. Best car decision I have ever made
  18. ive had both a RB30ET VL Calais and a RB20DET VL Calais and the RB30 shat all over it. both had 3" exhausts, FMIC, pod filter and 14psi and the dirty 30 owned it hard. there is no replacement for displacement, especially if your going to keep it relatively stock. 30 > 25 > 20
  19. the only performance motor that belongs in a VL is the RB30ET + Jatco auto. build em both up, make around 400hp and if you can drive well, the thing will do a 10. VLT enthusiasts will say the same thing. The torquey RB30 is ideal for the VL chassis. If you want a RB20/RB25, buy a Skyline. They are cheap as sh*T to buy these days and usually arent anywhere near as worn down as turbo'd Commodores.
  20. If its gonna be Work Meisters, it has to be the S1s in 3pc. Go the GTR wheels!
  21. Maybe its the successor to the Celica or MR2?
  22. i have just changed from a modified r33 gts-t to a stock JZA80 Supra TT and the Supra handles ALOT better than the Skyline ever did. The car 'feels' big but is a very comfortable drive. They are also deceptively quick. have seen bog stock 6spds run very low 13s and even a 12 with CAI and catback so they certainly match the GTR for performance. torque delivery is unbelievable and unmatched in its field. Once you own and drive one, they are a very hard car to fault. TRC system helps to put the power down very well, and with it off, the car has no dramas lighting the rears when stock. I imagine the Lexus LF-A will compete very strongly with the R35 GTR, and I hope does. The more performance cars on the mark, the better the chance of keep the dream alive for us enthusiasts!
  23. the 7:24 isnt confirmed or official, but i doubt it will be far off that given the predicted numbers the V10 will produce and knowing Toyotas build quality. The Lexus is a hot looking car and sounds tough as nails, unlike the vaccuum cleaner GTR
