    Yah we generally arent keen to insure daily ride bikes, only recreational/leisure use bikes.

    remember dynos are a tuning tool, all are different. i wouldnt worry too much about the power output, as long as it makes gains when u do mod it, then its ok. if u want to check the performance, take it to the strip/track and test your skills, and the ability of the car.

    thats a good theory there Greg, and would apply greatly to younger drivers looking to get insurance on an import. If you were to get comprehensive insurance, i guess its a matter of finding someone who will offer to insure the vehicle for an agreed value, not the average market value perhaps, especially if its worth a substantial amount of money, eg $20K+

    Great to hear your happy with the cover Luke, and Im happy to continue helping SAU members where I can. I guess you never really appreciate your insurer and the cover they offer until you find yourself making a claim.

    should be quite easy to find a neat, clean and straight R33 GTS-t. They are everywhere! If it means paying a little more for a good one, then do it, and save yourself the heart ache in the future.

    how old are you? dunno about everyone else, but when spending $20K+ on a car, especially a GTR, I would like to know that my 'investment' is insured comprehensively. If you crash it, how will you ever be able to fix it?

    a mate of mine did a 13.1 with a turbo back 3" exhaust, pod filter and 14psi with a 9 puck clutch also. i will find out about his mph and 60ft if i can

    its all about power to weight ratio. with the 4wd system is probably too heavy to import. the GT-V is exactly the same as the turbo model with bigger brakes etc but is just naturally aspirated....

    Where did you buy land for $99,000? South of ther River along the freeway I guess? My block has jumped from $161,000 purchase price to $220,000 value in just 6mths also, so happy days

    the expected rise in Perths population is like 140,000 in the next 5yrs, and its a fact that there is another area to develop to house all the people so, as long as the trades can keep up, the boom should continue. it will become more expensive to build but values will continue to soar with it. Now is still an excellent time to build/buy in WA.
