  4. oh so tru, can vouch for that with my bloody Supra i just got. car presented very nice, but the wiring on it was an absolute abortion, so bad that i got frustrated with it and hand balled it to an auto electrician to fix it. gauge wiring, HID wiring, neon wiring, it was done oh so dodgy.....

  8. the V8 supercars are hardly shitboxes...... However, it would be good to see a mix on the mountain again.
  9. could be a smaller, like a gt2530 or even gt2510 style turbo.
  10. yeah, i would be having doubts its actually a 2540 (given the tune is ok). if its HKS, it should be marked on the front cover with HKS shouldnt it?
  11. being a R32, its RB20 yeah? TD06 would be too laggy. the snail you have is fine. do u have an ebc?

  21. http://www.j-specimports.com/dealernet/det....php?id=1663083 HOT!, do it!
  22. go 040, cheap and widely used with vg results. easy installation.
  23. 040 is in tank. 044 is external. i had 040, was good for 375rwhp.
  24. i sold my R33 GTS-t recently and was considering a R33 GTR or 2JZGTE Supra. I went a 1999 VVTi Supra. Very strong drivetrain, awesome interior, reliable, torquey, powerful, sleek design, excellent value for money. The thing that won it over for me was definately the over engineered driveline and ecu. exhaust, clutch and pod and you can run 12s. cooler, boost, injectors, ecu and turbo kit and your well into the 11s AND still reliable. cant argue the 2JZ reliability against any engine, including the RB26. I have heard too many horror stories of R32 GTR RB26s failing with very mild set ups. plus, the R32 GTR is an old car, and finding an EXCELLENT example wont come cheap. interior wear and tear, paint fade, cracks and creaks are sure to be hiding there on a near 20yr old car. As said above though, being a Skyline forum, I doubt too many people are going to go against the Nissan. as for the chook cooking rotor, i have no idea I also thought about an Evo, but couldnt bring myself to buying a Lancer.
  25. mid 90s Japanese imports will continue to depreciate, theyw ill only become cheaper. the longer you wait the cheaper they will become. however, it might get harder to find a good example.
