  1. i have a cooler, cat back zorst and pod and i get about 330 to a full tank on my 1993 r33.
  2. gtr wheels would mean 5 stud which would also indicate turbo brakes. at $12500 and basically stock it should be a gts-t turbo..... nice car anyway, good luck!
  3. lol rofl AND lmao
  4. is it also true that the R33 doesnt like much boost on the stock ecu? perhaps a SAFC could be a cheap solution to make sure everything is smooth with the basic upgrades.....
  5. your lucky it was stolen by some of the most uneducated and hopeless thieves anyone has probably seen for quite some time..... stealing a car, parking it in full view of the public in someones driveway, slipping a business card under the street, then having stolen goods from the car sitting at the business addresss?!?! these clowns deserve 12" of love behind bars for their stupidity!
  6. well buddy, if you need some insurance, PM me and I will see if I can help you out, I work for Shannons Ins. Congrats on the find too, your very lucky!
  7. yes, the joys of importing direct from the Jap auctions minus all the extra car yard fees you would pay here in Oz.
  8. an aftermarket blow off valve can also contribute, especially if it vents to atmo..... my r33 gtst with a stainless cat back and a turbosmart veeport bov make very loud cracking/popping sounds off throttle.
  9. a built rb26 with usal bolt ons required to make it run, maybe...
  10. save for a genuine gtst, they are becoming so cheap now. i paid less than $12K for my 1993 5spd turbo....
  11. cover your sh*tter with glitter, you will love it and so will the chicks. if not, go metallic black....
  12. yeah you would pay upwards of $200 for a decent tyre probably. im in perth mate, so i would know where to get a tyre where you are, sorry.
  13. thats unlucky, sorry to hear.... any damage to the rim? 17" tyres, depending on quality would start from around $120ish Id say, not an entirely EXPENSIVE exercise.....
  14. thats the Perth one, R33 GTS-t, has those Zeit wheels and carbon bonnet. built by street force automotives and has a 400hp GEN III in it.
  15. my mates r32 rb20 came over with this turbo (ax53b70) and a stock manifold and stock dump/front pipe so its a direct bolt on 380hp turbo.
  16. i have a mate with the same snail on his R32 RB20 and it made just over 300rwhp on about 18psi i think.
  17. agreed, ive seen 11s from a full exhaust, aftermarket clutch, and some extra boost with a decent launch.....
  18. Have Apexi gone bust? I heard this through a few people, as well as this, I saw that there was no Apexi stand at the Tokyo Auto Salon I attended early this year. If so, perhaps they should do some "clear out" prices on their electronics! Anyone have any news on this?
  19. R33 GTS-t Series 1 imported will cost your around $12K. Thats is ALOT of car for $12K. Much better interior styling and space than the R32 with a much torquier motor and tough as 5spd box. People are asking WAY too much for R32s these days, you can pick up a bargain priced (and lightly modded) R33 for much the same, if not less! As for the fight between a S1 and a S2, how modded you gonna go? Big turbo and ecu change? go a series 1, save yourself the inital purchase costs! My 2 cents....
  20. well last august i picked up a 1993 R33 GTS-t sedan with 76,000kms on the clock. I am quite satisfied that the KMs are accurate, the car came with a full service history from a local Nissan dealer plus the overall condition of the vehicle inside and out was near perfect. Not rips/tears/blemishes at all. Genuine low Km examples are out there....
  21. Rural QLD would probably have the cheapest rates of all Aust. So move there if you want to save yourself some cash
  22. Commission? HAHA, nah no commission..... Doing it for the love of the 'Line!
  23. I hope when you make a claim, 'Elders' dont find out your the main driver, as they would DECLINE it straight away. You being a 10% driver, I guess you have another car that you use the other 90% of the time? If their claims dept is bothered about following up claims, they will figure out its not your dads car and you wont be paid out, making that $1000 a year saving a big waste of money.
  24. I saw that you mentioned the Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III.... unless you have 100s of 1000s of $$$$ to spend, forget it..... These sell, in average condition, for $100,000+ Perhaps a neat XW GT Falcon would be a better option. It will be only time before they crack the big $$$ like the XY model.....
  25. No worries James, glad to help P.S, did you want me to add a front mount intercooler to your policy as per that pic in your signature? hehe
