  1. I very much doubt you would get that on a late model import, unless your extremely lucky and its specified on your policy..... Shannons offer full coverage for your vehicle if you undertake a proffessional driving course in your vehicle, but not for track use........
  2. How much extra? and can you give an example of what track event they would cover for? not a drift comp or anything like that, right? do u mean, for test and tuning on a track they will coveR?
  3. Gday Brad, You may, or may not, remember me. I came and looked at your VL Calais when you were selling it! I work for Shannons Ins, Im unsure as to our Just Cars would go about insuring your Stagea for $30K+, but I can tell you now, that that value wouldnt be a problem with us especially after reading about your build up so far.
  4. CruiseLiner, If you have any dramas insuring it for $30K, PM me
  5. Any one after; Agreed Value Choice of Repairer (lifetime guarantee on those repairs) Pay by the Month (at no extra charge) Free Windscreen cover Blanket cover for modifications Professional driving course cover 21yo+ with a relatively clean driving record PM me for a comprehensive quote

  7. are these the D1 style drifters? at work and cant open the vids. If so, i bought Ken Nomuras ER34 Blitz D1 drift car from Japan recently. The Battery doesnt last long, but they are good fun otherwise. SO many aftermarket parts you can buy for these things. New wheels, coilovers, bigger batteries, bigger motors, sticky tyres etc etc..
  8. Apart from the $110 controller, the gauges themselves arent all that expensive compared to HKS, Apexi, Greddy etc. I have the black faced/white digit BF boost on the pillar and is fine to see!
  9. yes 1989+ 300zx, no need for it until you get Power FC.
  10. You cant tune a stock ecu, my choice would be a Power FC with Z32 AFM as its a proven performer with all RBs....
  11. stock ecu im guessing....
  12. definately a fair call.... lowish 13s
  13. Hmmm, yeah what do Just Cars do if you want a higher than market value on your car?
  14. Michael_1882 dude, when your a couple of years older, PM me and I will look after you on full comp insurance. I work at Shannons
  15. r34_skyline, i thought Just Cars took that in to account? Regardless of weather you have a NCB or not, they look at your driving record. Maybe thats not the case now.....
  16. Definately your no claim bonus is the reason, had you of been on a top rating of 60%+ you would have a premium of well under $1000
  17. Just Cars WILL offer you the best rate..... Personally, whats the point in owning a R34 GT-t and having Third Party? We are talking about a $25K+ car here..... At 17, I reckon the best idea would be a cheaper car..... If your gonna stick with the R34, insurance will not be cheap anywhere, and PLEASE do not drive the thing on the road without any type of insurance......
  18. I just purchased some DUB wheels from Hot Rims measuring 20x8.5" Cant wait for them to arrive!
  19. Hot Rims on corner of Scarborough Bch Road and Hutton St is decent. Can get all the rims that Tempe Tyres/Ozzy Tyres sell plus high end US rims too, no doubt they can get Jap wheels too..... Check them out
  20. the VL will never win, especially on a Skyline orientated forum.... Having said that, and owned a VL, I say get a VL Calais
