WIth Shannons Insurance, if you are not at fault and can I dentify the 3rd party, your NCB will not be affected nor will you have to pay an excess. We also offer a Protected NCB which, regardless of how many claims you make, your NCB will not be affected.

Yeah, sounds like its been wound back. But hey, great for re-sale value! Just look after with regular services and she will be sweet. A mate of mine bought in a R32 '89 4dr and it showed only 46,000kms and there were tears in the interior, overall rough condition, so dont worry, your not the only one. I have just bought a R33 GTS25t sedan which apparently has 76,000kms on the clock, who knows, perhaps thats wound back too.

I personally have claimed through Shannons, my R33 was hit and written off. I had the claim sorted and received my cheque within 10 days of the accident and bought a new acr days after that. You wont realise how good your insurance company is until you claim through them.

I know they hang way out the guards on a R33 GTS-t, not sure about R34 GT-T though.

I have had chopped springs in a R33 before, very bouncy ride and alot of body roll around corners. It may look hot being so low, but not practical. Fork out for Kings SuperLows.

mines done 76,000kms 1993 GTS25t 5spd Sedan On the boat as we speak heading to Perth for me so all Jap KMs so far. -
Sydney premiums are usually higher than Perth also, most of us should be lucky people like Just Cars will offer insurance as none of your mainstream insurers will offer cover on a highly modifed grey import to a 20yo with previous at fault claims....

Vic and NSW are quite expensive, the rest of the country is relatively cheap compared to WA, this based on Metro areas of course.... As for picking up a R34 Gt-t auto, Have you looked into importing one? Should get a clean example for that value quite easily if you bought from an auction through a broker. I can recommend Autoworx in Wangara, they are bringing in s R33 GTS25t sedan for me now. Paul is great up there.

Yeah, NCB and turning 25 will make a significant difference to the premium.
