I have a bit of a dilemma.
I was planning on purchasing an R33 GTST next February, hopefully something with a few modification i.e exhaust, timer, upgraded intercooler. I was looking at spending about $25,000 for a car with rims and the above modifications.
The more I think about it though is perhaps I should buy an R34 GTT instead. As they are newer and desipte the Skyline's reputation as a superb piece of engineering, I am afraid of things going wrong with an almost decade old R33.
Is my thinking rational or am I being stupid?
The best price I have seen asked for a R34 GTT coupe was $28,000. This kind of money seems to get you mostly non-turbo four-door vehicles. I don't know how much an R34 GTT will cost next year so it looks like I'll have to wait.
If anyone can present the pros and cons I'm not aware of that would be great.
I apologise if everyone has heard this diatribe before!
