I've always brought in my own cars from Japan The grading process in Japan is reasonably consistant and accurate. If the car was a grade 4 or above I'd imagine the dealer would be happy to show you. The de-reg papers may also confirm if the kms are genuine.

I was warned off doing this conversion due to introduced problems with bump steer. I've just stayed with new koni inserts and will get the DR30 struts converted to adjustible platform once the car is licensed.

That's great news that it wasn't a write off the chrome trims that sit around the rear side windows I bought some new ones for around $180 each from my friendly local Nissan dealer

I heard this car was sold back to QLD and a fuel can placed in the boot. It moved and shorted out the battery....KABOOM one dead DR. Hope that's not the case

I'm doing something similar with my DR30 but not sure what your definition of cheap is. Mine is almost on the road but owes me $10k with Minor chassis rust repaired and fully proofcoated underside Seatbelts rewebbed A/C unit converted to new gas WRX interior Nolathane front end New lower control arms Koni Shocks Momo Sports steering wheel Autronic ECU and boost controller plus plus plus it all adds up But hopefully mine will be a better example

Is there anyone in Perth who convert 5 stud wheels to 4 stud? Welding up the existing holes..... is it legal and is it safe?
