  1. I'm sorry too Memphis as I'm with Dan and Rob on this one. We are here to help if we can but are getting tired of trivial requests generated in the wee hours of the morning. Erik You're obviously not dumb so have a go at these minor niggles yourself. That way when you've built up your own knowledge base you can help someone else in the future. Either that or buy a Volvo Cheers
  2. Yep no more than 10psi. R34's also may require two boost cut defenders from memory as there are two places it gets its input from. R34's are a lot trickier than 33's to boost up.
  3. If it's a squicking sound then tell your mechanic that your infradudiator needs adjustment

  6. Mate we can't help you diagnose a squeak on the forum. Make the effort and try to locate the noise yourself and work out the best way to fix it yourself. Cheers Chris
  7. That's a bit harsh mate;) Never heard of a GTS-t aligned to a Taxi before. Try XR8 and GT /SS and HSV at least

  11. Hi Jason I've worked in the oil and gas industry here for 20 years or so on contract. I'm currently Lead Electrical Designer on the Enfield FPSO design for Fluor/Amec JV. Contact Bill Beatty at Swan Contract for help. If you need any other contacts I'll dig them up. What discipline/position are you after? http://www.swanpersonnel.com.au/ Cheers Chris
  12. My funniest was a few years ago ..was in the left lane stopped at a set of lights next to a guy on a bike. The light turned green and as I took off I saw the biker stop and then out of the corner of my eye I saw a blur which turned out to be a car running a red light. This old guy in the other car started going off about me a young guy driving a fast car and taking off through a red light!!!what the??? I figured I was screwed as who would believe the young guy. At that time the bike rider was writing the license numbers down as I didn't have a pen. He then casually unzipped his rain jacket to reveal a....yes that's right...a policemans uniform:D The other guy stopped mid sentence and I heard an audible "GULP" Yes kiddies there is sometimes a policeman around when you need him
  13. I was in a two car photo once .I knew there would be two cars in the pic so asked to see the photo. As my car was in the middle of the shot they said i was the speeder (which was true). So I paid up. Funny thing is when they showed me the pic it only had my car in it an I had to ask him to pan it out to see everything the sneaky bastard Cheers
  14. I assume you meant unbiased opinion;) That's what I gave . Both cars are terrific but the Rex would be more forgiving and hence faster in inexperienced hands. On the downside the Rex feels a little fragile compared to the GTR. If I could get a '96 onwards 4 door GTR I'd trade the REX tomorrow.
  15. Everything this side of a worked GTR. And in the wet unless the GTR driver is very skilled with the handling of an "R" (ie Ken)... Everything.
  16. They're good just not idiotproof;)
  17. Keep looking here Jason. That $1,000 to $2,000 will soon be gobbled up by "unforseen" costs and then some. Not to mention the puss and pain you will have to go through under the new system. Find a car in Japan today and you won't be driving it till november Cheers Chris
  18. I went to the shops once and came out a different exit to approach my car from the other direction to spy a tu*d starting to lever off my guard badge. Got right next to him without him knowing and stood over him as he was crouching beside the car hiding. When he looked up in shock I never said a word but punched him fair in the lughole. Talk about squeeling like a stuck pig:) He scampered off still squeeling and holding his ear. Geez that was satisfying
  19. A boy & his coin A man walks into a Canberra shopping centre with his young son. The boy is holding a coin. Suddenly, the boy starts choking, going blue in the face. The dad realizes the boy has swallowed the coin and starts panicking, shouting for help. A well dressed, attractive, but serious looking woman in a blue business suit is sitting at a coffee bar in the centre reading her newspaper and sipping a cup of coffee. At the sound of the commotion, she looks up, puts her coffee cup down on the saucer, neatly folds the newspaper and places it on the counter, gets up from her seat and makes her way, unhurried, to them. Reaching the boy, the woman carefully takes hold of the boy's testicles and starts to squeeze, gently at first and then ever more firmly. After a few seconds the boy convulses violently and coughs up the coin, which the woman deftly catches in her free hand. Releasing the boy, the woman hands the coin to the father and walks back to her seat in the coffee bar without saying a word. As soon as he is sure that his son has suffered no lasting ill effects, the father rushes over to the woman and starts thanking her saying, I've never seen anybody do anything like that before, it was fantastic. Are you a doctor? "No," the woman replies. "I work for the Australian Taxation Office"

  21. Think of the rarity value too.....stock wheels:bahaha: Quick car though
  22. Thanks for the cheque. Hope it's enough:) I think maybe top end power for drags and low down for racing (on circuits without long straights) Years ago when I mistakenly left Nissan for a Mazda Rallycar my sponsor built a periphial port 13B engine for me. I had the option of big ports like everyone else or small. I went for small and that engine kicked butt and whipped all the works cars up the Zig Zag in Kalamunda in a national rally (grandfather of Rally Australia). The car just leapt out of corners while others were waiting for the revs to rise. Unfortunately the car was a pig to handle (ask Ken ) But the engine was magic Cheers
