    Skyline R34

Chill mate he was only teasing. Don't mind when the missus is rude;)
  2. Slow night at work troy?
  3. Curtin, Bentley that's easy C-Red or SST they both know their stuff. Talk to them. Cheers
  4. For oil filter good old R31 will fit. Maxima would not be a likely donor for Skyline mechanical parts. Although i think the wheels fit One is a brilliant sports sedan the other is a...well a Maxima. I only used that example to indicate that Nissan tries to keep a high level of part interchangability. For another instance the Skyline has 300zx front suspension and 200sx rear so I'm told Cheers
  5. I'm a northern boy so can't help with a local recommendation. Rotomotion is near you though. Heard they are pretty good after several changes of owners

    Skyline R34

His yard is next to Alf Barbagellos on Scarborough Beach rd Is yours an auto or manual?
  7. Maintenance is no big issue with any Skyline really. As long as the oil and filter is changed regularly along with a normal service routine they will just run forever if treated well. I ran synthetic oil in mine changed every 5000kms but 10,000km intervals is OK under normal conditions. Good thing about Nissans is a lot of Parts are interchangeable to many other models. For instance an R33 power antenna is interchangeable with a Maxima one etc etc....makes sence to do it but a lot of manufacturers don't . If you're after new parts see Steve at Northside Nissan parts. He knows and loves Skylines (owns a 33) and is also happy to import any Nismo parts you want/can afford. Do you have a mechanic you know and trust? If not what part of Perth you from so someone can recommend a local Cheers Chris

    Skyline R34

38k is reasonable price for an R34. Got 42 for mine but it had 15k worth of gear on it. Joe Crisfario had a black one they would have accepted $34k for. If you haven't signed already screw them as hard as possible as the R34's are harder to sell due to most finance company's wanting a much larger deposit plus the cost of insuring them is high. Cheers

    Server

"The server is too busy please try again later" Getting sick of that statement. Does the server need upgrading or are there too many post whores
  10. That's a bummer Adam. Just not good enough. Why not get a "Lumpy" intercooler. They are the best...no problems with one of those Cheers
  11. I've allways used Mothers which is a great product similar to meguires. I'm about to try this though http://www.aurora-one.com.au/ Cheers
  12. Wilkinsons are very good...the best IMHO. Don't know where you heard they were expensive as that definitely is not the case. Peter knows what works and what doesn't and will not sell you something you don't need unless of course you want it. For example he did some minor tweeks to my Rex and it placed 12th outright at MC motorsport...only hi po cars on "race rubber" beat me so he knows his stuff. Cheers Chris
  13. Sure can!! Last Saturday I drove from Wanneroo to Vic Park and return. Saw nine R33's in that time...that blew me away
  14. Joe John's Motorcycle Training. Ask for Nick 0417 989 466. Has a bike on a trailer and comes to you. You'll need to get your learners permit first Cheers Chris
  15. You've got our attention with that statement. Did you do that at Kwinana??? If so can you post the details off the slip and tell us all what's been done to your car to pull those times Cheers
  16. Ah what the heck...Life is a journey not a destination.
  17. Hey Joe I got a seat for ya on my new toy:) Cheers Chris
  18. I've driven both and must admit I was blown away by the EVO. It's one of the most amazing cars I've driven. But at the end of the day it's based on a $15990 drive away crapbox and it shows. A very good effort by Mitsubishi but comprehensively outclassed by the Skyline
  19. Ken Should we post a poll "who's the biggest post whore Skyzer33 or PVA":uh-huh:
  20. I fitted a set to my brother in laws 33. They are tricky to fit and a bit nerve racking to get the needles off but they are amazing
  21. Depends on your definition of F**K ALL. 7,000kms actually. Since that event the car seems to have loosened up and is running better and more powerfully than ever:)
  22. I held my own I guess. Not sure as to the overall result but I came 2nd in the WRX team against seasoned Rex drivers so I'm happy. Took a mega dollar 12sec WRX on race tyres to beat me though. Once I get used to the car I'm hoping for an improvement. Got approached by Norbert the organiser of Max action after one over the top sideways display and asked if I would enter the Max Action event next month....anyone have some Dulnlop R spec race tyres?
  23. Shaun I was in the afternoon session 2 cars after you so you probably didn't see me. I had the blue bugeye Rex in the WRX 2 team. Never thought a REX could do power slides ....until now:) Cheers
  24. Ken I think he was comparing the Training day to Max Action event not MC to MA. Have my first run at MC event tomorrow. Hope I can sus out the 4WD handling Cheers
  25. Thanks but the worrying part is one wants a Monaro and the other wants me to build her a panelvan(to drive Ken). Oh the shame of it all
