  1. Western Australia only ...Duh My Skyline plates are for sale. Metal black with white letters but can be remade in whatever colour you choose. I was offered $5000 for them a few years ago and declined. That was then and this is now so will look at all offers. But will accept the highest sensible bid. I've owned these plates for over 14 years so am quite attached to them. So the Auction starts now. Cheers Chris
  2. What's the definition of a true sports car? Therefore is an MX5 a True,True sports car? Nissan in there wildest dreams would not claim any Skyline as a "True Sports Car" ....Sporting yes. Nissan badge their Skylines GT's translated from italian is Grand tourer so if the 33 is more of a tourer it is the better car than the 32 in your opinion boostzor ? In my opinion car makers must improve each successive model overall or go out of business Cheers Chris
  3. Thanks;)
  4. Hope you were refering to using a notebook there mate.
  5. K&N panel filter for me. Foam filters do have their uses if that use is to filter out rocks and small birds only (IMHO) Cheers
  6. Yeah me too...once at band camp I didn't wash my car for two weeks:lol:
  7. I got done couple of years ago and viewed the photo as I knew there would be two cars in the photo as it was on the freeway. Yes there was me and another car in the photo but he said it was trained on the car in the middle of the photo (me). Sly bugger initially showed me a photo of my car only until I made him pan it out. Asked for a 8"x10" glossy as it was a nice pic but he had no sence of humour the :whackit:
  8. GR33DyMANGO Not very nice mate....
  9. Bubbling noise after 5,500 rpm could be your passengers Shi#ing themselves. Seriously take it back to the dealer but may be worthwhile getting an independant check done by a recognised engineer first as the yard only have to fob you off for 12 weeks unless you can prove the problem was pre existing. Engine only test may cost $50 but will either save you heaps or put your mind at ease. Cheers Chris
  10. They are a good unit . Can recommend them.

    cruizing?

Low 14's are still nothing to be ashamed of. Good enough to waste 99% of anything HSV can produce:)
  19. Dave If you're interested I could help you get a cheap home made cooler from a guy I know and trust. It wouldn't be a thing of beauty but hey it would work. He'll be making some soon but not right now. Cheers Chris
  20. Is that related to the oil surge problem they had? I thought they would have fixed that by now
  21. Just between us I owned a V6 Vt supercharged 'S' pack before the R33. Mine was fine and I quite liked it for what it was. Once daughter No1 got her car and we hardly ever went out together as a group I didn't need the room I got rid of it for the 33(a car for me not the family) I love my Skyline but the dunnydoors aint bad. Followed a new SS tonight which I suspect is a Holden test car with vic plates "VYSS 04" on it. Looked cool in that bright green. Also getting used to the Magna rear end with Hyundai Elantra front end on it. Mind you the bodykit on the SS helps too Cheers Chris
  22. Price reduced to $42,000ono
  23. Last year HBF stopped insurance on imports I believe but will try them and the others so thanks. Cheeky bastard Micko:D
  24. Shannons have increased my insurance premium by 20% at renewal without me ever making a claim agaist them:( Who else insures in WA? RAC have told me again tonight that they don't insure Skylines. Cheers Chris
  25. The issue seems to be that Rob has a comprehension problem. The "Naysayers" only told him that a 13.7 was unlikely from the setup he was running. That setup included other things like clutch/suspension and tyres etc not just HP which he seems to have fixated on.He has set about modifying his previous set up to prove us all wrong but has missed the point (he no longer has that setup) Rev210 has made a fine effort to get the times he has but he has put some development into his car to achieve it.Congratulations Dude!!!! Rob As I recall the only "shit" you received was over your attitude not your achievements thus far. Before you modify your car further please modify your manner on this forum as I for one am growing tired of your continual bleeting/stirring. That is all I have to say on the matter and will not be drawn further. This used to be a great forum before the influx of stirrers
