Might sound silly but cut the bottom off a coke aluminium can and see if it will fit. Darryl with the burgandy GTS (Works at wanneroo auto parts) has done it and it looks great. Wouldn't have picked it if he hadn't told me. Had a nice aluminium finish with a Nissan sticker on it. It depends on the size of your wheel flange plus you'll have to make 4 of them. Cheers

Nor are XR8's One tried to follow me onto the freeway at Joondalup last night. He gunned it to stay with me and lost it in a big way with a real tank slapper. Watched him in my rearview mirror as he went left/right/left again and then over the curb and vanished down the embankment. Stopped to see he was OK when my missus mentioned the train tracks were down there (not good way to catch the 4.45 from Joondalup:) ) Anyway everyone ok although his missus and kids were not too happy. He mowed down some saplings and ended up sideways against a small tree. Not a lot of damage but I'd like to know how they got it out of there...5 metres below the road in soft sand(Crane anyone) Shame to mess up a 2 week old car (well more than ford messed it up) Cheers

Are RAC insuring Skyline turbos again? They decided not to and when I enquired with their management they said it was due to the difficulty of getting parts. I put them onto my contact at Northside Nissan to prove there was no problem.Must've convinced them My 34 costs $1050 through Shannons but then I'm an old bastard with max NCB Cheers

That's scary that they broke into the house to get the keys. My keys are hidden for that reason. They'd have to try hard to get the location from me. I hear that some alarms have a "hijack" option. The car will only run for a couple of minutes without a dedicated switch activation from the driver. Could be worthwhile us looking into it. Hope I see the bastards first. Chris

My brother in law got a 400R kit from the guys at speedworks. It looks great and is of reasonable quality. Having said that it's all hinges on who fits and paints it. Try BA Wilson Carcraft in Joondalup if you're out that way. I'll try to find a photo of his car if you like. Cheers Chris
