Coil Overs 3. they are adjustable height / lowered at the moment by 2inchs front and rear roughly 4. eventually for drift and track use 5. 2nd hand from a forum member 6. HR31 coupe 7. not buy 2nd hand and fit them straight away if theyve been sitting for ANY length of time ..... my scenario ..shitty local streets (corigations) on the test drive blew the right front shock ....needs to be rebuilt /replace..... my advice ..thoroughly pull them apart and insure the shock is "pumped" up just to check the valving wont be shocked into blowing out its arsehole. i'm considering getting another set of rear springs ...and have the originals rated for consistancy...having a few issues with platform heights on the rear shocks at the moment.... nothing major Buy new if u can afford it .....or make sure u know what your buying if u get 2nd hand.   3. i've done the last 6 driving missions up to the very last one .. and its ****n pissing me off ..anyone been able to chase down all the merc's? closest i've gotten is 10seconds. i want that Nissan R89C Race Car '89 so i can clean sweep the GT world champ and get into the extreme series. Matt

Shell 100 has always been a good fuel ..even when ppl used it onthe speedway in teh 70s .... course then it had alot of benzine and toluene in it .. how much is it worht ......coz last i looked it was 52bucks for 20litres of BP100 ..and when your burning a litre every lap it gets expensive and i thought mobil had a similar race fuel u could buy as well at one stage? Mobil 3 or something it was refered to Matt

  10. what do u have to add or change on a Rb20 plenum to fit these up correctly? does the TPS have to be changed? Matt
  11. i havent as yet. if anything they will sit too low on the piston..... i think.....but thats a guess as i dont have my pistons either for the time being. i'm intending to use 4agze gudgeon pins with offsetted bushes to suit the gudgeon placement to the rb26 rod... if that makes sense. i think the piston has to be raised so it clears the oil squirter on the top of the rod.... similar to what they explained in the Rb24 build in HPi. i think SK has the bits and piece..and the info i know regarding the rb24 is from him. maybe he'll be able to answer your question more correctly in terms of height. thanks Matt
  12. yea go the swap man .... as long as u know what your buying ..condition wise.. dont get ripped off.....it'll be slightly laggy.. but with a ECU either chipped or full aftermarket Dr Drift ecu chipping is about 300bucks i think nowadays....chip it for all your mods in one go ..rather than doing it again after u change turbo GTR injectors are the go ..plenty of info on the search bar for "GTR injectors into Rb20" i'm doing similar for my r31 coupe ..redtop eccs ... will have vg30 on 16psi gtr injectors and chipped ecu .. along with FMIC, full exhaust and straight thru cat. similar mods have seen a ECCS engine make 198rwkw with fmic, exhaust, pod, 16psi vg30turbo, chipped ecu and gtr injectors.... good luck....i love the Z31's ...wish i bought one somedays Matt
  13. i dont think machining costs will be thatttttttt great ... saving your money purchasing stuff for the right price is what it is about i have my gtr crank, rods, cams, injectors, fuel rail, nismo reg, rb20long motor, vg30 turbo (to be hiflowed.steel wheeled).. so far thats set me back just under 2000 all up. pistons will set me back around 680bucks for 2 sets of 4agze off the shelf pistons. offset bushes for the conrod ends are an inexpensive and proven practice. Set of rings wont set me back an arm and a leg.ARP Vg30 rod bolts are fairly cheap. metal head gasket from tomei 80.5 should be right.. but i'll double check .....as the 4agze pistsons are 80.5mm themselves.. far as i know.. not the previously remarked 81... **** all difference.. but anyways.. Machining would probably be around the 1500-2000 dollar mark ...MAX i would like to think. hopefully my m8 that built my last racemotor will help me out with the assembly.. but i'm comfortable if i had to do it myself. if u know someone ..and have everything ready to be put together ..giving them a few slabs and 500bucks or something should be plenty to have a complete motor in a month or so ..lol Just my thoughts anyways Matt

  15. i think i have one .. how much they worth? its missing one of the input plugs on the controller end of the wire... coz the boost controller was torn out when it was stolen they left the sensor behind Matt
  16. being a complete novice to this.... i'm unsure of what i am to do ... i have a soleniod from a Greedy Profec E01 boost controller..and pressure sensor .. would i need to use this pressure sensor at all? with the soleniod.. one wire is black one is red....i havent bought the SC book just yet,, but will .. but i think it would probably answer my questions .... anyways has anyone used something similar with their IEBC install? is it better option than trying to source a rb25 one? with the DFA ....adjusting the fuel mixtures at each loading points .is it from scratch or does it pick up on the standard points .. and u adjust that? again i should probably just buy that SC book and read it.   18. yea few guys at the moment are in the process of puitting in Neo RB25's ..its very possible to do ..and quite easy... depend on your wallet.. i would go the rb25 neo ..and get the larger import struts ..coz as far as i know the non turbo version have the smaller front brakes compared to the turbo versions.... seriously stops u from bolting on R32 and upward front calipers..... check out the r31skylineclub like Abo Bob suggested.. and do a search plenty of topics on transplants... all the best with it. u got a nice clean coupe to play with there Matt
  19. u'll only achieve 2.4litres if u go 82mm tomei pistons. with gtr crank and rods. with 81mm pistons u'll be around the 2.3litre mark ...basically the same difference end of the day.... but ..i would think the 2.3 would be slightly more rev happy. but it would be a poofteenth of a difference between the 2.3 and 2.4.... Sounds good to me clarkey.... im in the process of gathering bits and piece to build what Roy was talkin about. so far i have my crank, rods, cams, injectors, long motor, fuel rail and hopefully before too long ..81mm pistons..... from a Toyota 4AGZE ..i have a standard part number for em if your interested. (just gotta find where i put it) i believe these are forged and ceramic coated from factory.... pretty neat i reckon. .... they'll go into a Rb20 with offset gudgeon bushes machined to suit the 4AGZE gudgeon pin ..i think to bring it down a little.. yet to fully confirm it. all of this info i'm passing on i got from SydneyKid. They are a far far cheaper option than getting Tomei Pistons ..even if u can get them at cost price. over here $340(approx) for a set of 4 toyota pistons x4 is pretty damn cheap over the counter. Any good machine shop should be able to machine your block to suit the RB26 crank diameter. im in no hurry with mine at the moment.. but id love to see more ppl actually do it rather than go a RB25 or other. sorry for the lack of puncuation , im lazy Matt

  24. no idea.. i have 3680pt in Aspec after 225days game play.. game doesnt seem any harder at least i noticed the KW HP discrepencies also.... in the garage for eg it has 770kw.. and u change your Units to HP ..it still says 770 but 770hp ...bitof a programming boo boo i think. so that would probably explain the replay quotes from hp to kw .. coz from 770 to 570 is a fair lose in drivetrain after u spent money on clutches and shafts. And, How hard is to drift compared to the GT3....finally workd it out last nite so it doesnt snap back on me and keeps the speed up... its really tricky. Matt
