Yeah it is definately just runing very rich. I will take it for a drive tomorrow and see how it goes. How do I make it a bit learner using the power fc?

The black smoke has gone but can still see vapour coming out the exhaust which I believe to be excess fuel so I would say you are right and its running very very rich. Is it safe to drive it in this condition??? Thanks heaps for your help.

Turned off o2 feed back control and i think it has helped abit, but still fumes, vapour coming out the exhuast and a very rough idle. I will get another o2 sensor tomorrow (will try for genuine but will get el falcon if cant go geniune). If I install this and it fixes the problem, should I try and plug the air/fuel ratio back in? Other mods to my car is, exhaust, pod filter, blitz bov, tein ha suspension and I have a gfb atomic boost controller. Thanks.

Yes it does smell like a fuel smell and yes the power fc is brand new but hasnt been tuned yet. But the power fc was working until I tried to tap into the o2 sensor wire. Is it possible that this could have killed the o2 sensor?

I just installed a power fc into my r33 gtst and it was working fine. Upon installing this the wire to my air/fuel ratio came loose as it was just poked into the wiring loom. After installing and checking that the power fc worked I took it back apart and decided to split the wire to the o2 sensor piggyback the air/fuel gauge off it. I then started the car it was idling very very rough and black smoke was coming from the exhaust!!! I took the piggyback off to the air/fuel gauage and the problem is still there. I put the old computer back in and it idle better and no black smoke but there was a vapour still coming out of the exhaust and it really smells! I have now put the power fc back in and black smoke is still coming out. What is the problem. Please help!!!! Thanks.

Anyone got a Pivot Shift Lamp? Are these any good? Are they easy to install? How do they work?

Guys need some help, The thrust bearing in my r33 gts-t has gone as its making that whirling noise. After reading some threads everyone recones to change your clutch/flywheel at the same time. I already have a button type clutch but are unsure what brand or how good, is there a way I can tell? I was looking at getting a second hand OS Giken clutch from this site upimports ? Can you tell from the pics the condition of the clutchs on that site. I was looking at getting a OS Giken Twin Plate clutch. From the pics do they come with a lightened flywheel? Also my clutch has broken the clutch or pedal box twice and has had to be welded up, I dont know how or why that has happened. Thanks,

I've blocked my standard off as well, but I dont get the flutter noise. Does that mean my aftermarket one is doing its job properly. Or is it still eventually gonna screw my turbo?

Yeah they are gapped to .8. How many k's till i should change these?

yeah its aust. I ordered some stuff put the money in their account and got the stuff in 2 days. I also was looking for where they were located so I could estimate how long it would take but couldnt find anything. Anyone know of any other places you can get performance parts?

Hey, just changed the spark plugs on my r33 gtst with some NGK BCPR7ES ($4.20 from repco) as suggest in another thread, and when I did this the old plugs I found in there were some HKS ones. Checked this out on the net and they are Iridium ones and cost about $20 us. With the new $4.20 plugs in the car drove better. Just wondering if these would perform better if I got some new HKS ones? Also where would I get these from I cant find anywhere on the net to order them (only us sites)??? Also wondering where I can order from an australia website performance parts like this and others? Have ordered stuff from www.modyourcar.com.au and they were good. Cheers

Your car is in valet mode. Turn the ignition to on (i think, maybe turn to acc) then press the alarm button once, then turn it off. Your car should now have the normally beep. See how that goes mate.
