Hks Super Sequential Bov From 34gtt
HKS34R replied to Motorman's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Would you be interested in selling me just the flange adaptor?? -
Yep, Quickfit do an excellent job!! I sent them two looms, they sent me back one that just plugged in!! Great stuff. Transplant into a 32 should be legal. Only thing that would stop it is the spring rates in the front suspension, i.e the standard 32 rates might not be up to the extra power. Would be an interesting swap

Stock R34 intercooler
HKS34R replied to 666DAN's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Mmmmmm, do I smell FMIC?? Good luck with the sale Dan. -
Also look into getting some standard turbo shocks/springs for the front as I'm pretty sure they're different between the turbo and non-turbo variants. If the spring rates currently in your car are not sufficient, you will not get it engineered.

R33, R34 CAI box & radiator panel

Very interested in a CAI box for an R34. Are they still available?? If so, how much, and how do I go about getting one?? Cheers, Brett -

Much appreciated. Would a GFB or Turbosmart flange be suitable?? -

PM replied. Just a quick question though. When you say recirc adaptor, you mean the parts required to make the BOV plumb back, and not an adaptor to fit the BOV onto the stock piping? Assuming this is correct, where can an adaptor be bought to mount the BOV on the standard RB25 piping?? We don't have an Autobarn here in Coffs, and the nearest performance shop in on the Gold Coast. Any ideas?? -
Would be very interested in a CF air box to house my pod in. Car is an R34.

Much appreciated, let me know what prices the HKS stuff is available for. Depending on price, might take your offer and get a Type R, or even a RS. Cheers. -

Can you get the adaptor kits as well?? Im interested in the SSQV for my R34 but need the adaptor and plumb back kit too. -
Even though I took the easy way out and bought a turbo front cut, its good to see that you have set your mind to turbocharging the existing engine. My only advice is don't do it on the cheap and plan for things to go wrong. If you don't it could be a project you wish you never undertook. Good luck!!! Brett

Turbo or non-turbo. I have a non turbo one for sale. See here. Price is negotiable.
-
HKS make an plumb back kit for the SSQV for the R34. Might be worth contacting BD4s about getting such a kit. IMO, unless your factory BOV is leaking, keep it and put a pod on. Still makes a noise between gear changes without making your car cop bait.

Should I be worried about the colour of that first flush, or would you say that would be fairly normal?? Brett

Hey guys, Need the centre console surrounding the CD player in an R34, as mine was damaged when someone tried to steal the CD player in my car. I need the facia, all CD player mounting brackets and the centre console itself. I have been to a local Nissan dealer and the prices they wanted for the parts requested are about 10 times what I'm willing to pay for it. I'm located in Coffs Harbour, but will pay the postage to anyone who can sell me these bits. Thanks heaps, Brett

I'd go Alpine. Just bought myself the 9833. Very nice piece of gear, easy to use and has more features than you can poke a stick at!!
-
Also 25GT's dont have the three guages above the climate control in the centre of the dash either, and they dont have HICAS either.
-
Go the cheaper option an get a RB25DET front cut from a GTT or a Stagea. A lot less expensive and a lot easier!! Don't underestimate the RB25. With the right parts, it can still scare the living s**t out of passengers, not to mention yourself!!! My 2c worth

 Super draggers exhausts were available for GTS-Ts but I don't think HKS make them anymore due to the tightening of noise emission regulations in Japan. Hope that helps??

GREDDY VS HKS VS BLITZ Intercoolers
HKS34R replied to Coupe-This's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
HKS ones use the factory piping too. Received mine the other day (R34). Very nice piece of gear!! -
Yep, agree fully. No good having all that power and not being able to stop in time. I'm just coming from a budget point of view. Chances are if you buy bigger brakes etc before the conversion is complete and roadworthy, something WILL go wrong and you will need that money that you have already spent. There's nothing worse than having your car off the road while you save up to finish the conversion. Trust me
-
Yep so do I. Bolt the R34 sump onto the Stagea engine, and the manual R34 box bolts straight up. Thats what I did.
-
it would be but would it be worth the extra 2 grand (R34 front cut $6k, Stagea front cut 4k)?? also R34 front cuts are almost impossible to find. I spent months looking for one, and took the easier option. DaGr81: No need to upgrade the suspension and brakes when doing the conversion, as the R34 stuff is satisfactory to get the swap engineered. Also don't bother with a manual Stagea cut as most of the Stageas produced are automatic, meaning finding a manual Stagea cut would be even harder than finding a manual R34 cut. No upgrades to fueling or handling yet. The only thing a bit weird about the conversion is the fact that I used the Stagea ECU, meaning that the ECU retards the timing when it "thinks" the auto is about to change gears. It should go harder with the FMIC coming, and I might get a PFC later. Hope that helps, Brett

R34 N/A bits for sale
HKS34R replied to 666DAN's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Haha. Tell me about it. I still have a whole engine. Try tripping over that without hurting something (Free bump) -
WTF?? $7k is all you need. Here's the break down of the cost (from experience). RB25DET NEO front cut (auto) - $4k + freight (usually about $500 depending on where from and where to). Installation from a professional - $2k Wiring - $550 from QuickFit Motorsport (they will take both looms, and modify one of them to suit your car, then send both back to you so all you have to do is plug and play) Blue slip and re-rego - $1k All up it cost me about 7k, professionally done. Mind you this was a RB25DET Neo from a Stagea (not and R34 so cheaper), and the transplant was into an R34. Only dramas were the pickup on the sump. The Stagea has a 4WD gearbox, therefor I had to use my existing sump to bolt up, meaning that my sump had to be modified to clear the pickup on the Stagea engine. Holes also needed to be cut in the passenger side of the engine bay for the IC piping to go through. Bit of luck you can flog off some of the parts you don't need to recover some of the cost. I've done it, and have not regretted the cost.
