Hey, Pretty much as the topic states. After alot of thrashing and pushing to it's limits my motor has finally decided to lose compression in one of it's cylinders. Now it's an r33 gtst with an rb25. So my delema is whether to rebuild my motor from the ground up with forged internals or save a bit of money and drop a second hand motor into it. what do you guys think, i'm after honest advice and any help people can offer.. Also if anyone can recommend shops to get quotes from and feedback on shops who have done this type of work. thanks guys

there is such a thing as adr approval, it's not a specific company that does the testing. It's that they must have certain test's run on the component to meet adr regulations then once they have been done. ADR then approves the part by giving it an ADR number.

no the suspension comes into play once they send u the papers, generally after you pay the fine..... Like I live in qld so rules might be slightly different (pretty sure they are the same australia wide) but just in case read the back of the fine and also call the traffic authority and just ask when the points apply and just explain the situation

it use to work the other way until a couple of people did it really really extremely like to the point that they had 50+ points accumulated, that the government changed the rules

well if u didn't have enough points at the time of the fine, then you will loose it

you are aware that the points are deducted from the date of the fine regardless of when u pay it
