  1. How long did it take for you to receive it?
  2. Hi all, Thinking about upgrading my exhaust/turbo manifold on my rb25det in my R32. It's currently running a standard manifold and a garret GT30(71 or 76, not sure). Can anyone recommend a decent and worthwhile upgrade for under $500? I don't want to have to retune the car yet either will this be an issue?
  3. Being an R32 GTST owner I feel your pain, I don't think I've see a lip for a 32 GTST, definitely some for 32 GTR though. Only advice would be get one custom made or see if another models' lip will fit, ie an R33 lip or a 32 GTR lip
  4. Hi all thanks again, went to just jap and got some genuine Nissan stuff for the 12, as I suspected that the 4 where the turbo bolts to manifold had been redrilled to a different thread I thought standard wouldn't fit, I ended up getting grade 8.8 steel grub screws which will do the job. Cheers
  5. Thanks for the help, that covers the 12 for manifold to head but dies anyone have any ideas for the 4 where the turbo bolts to the manifold?
  6. Hi all I am trying to hunt down some new studs and nuts for exhaust manifold (RB25DET), after calling numerous nut and bolt places, exhaust places, autobarn, rocket ind. and repco in the Sydney area I have found they are quite hard to get. I'm after 12 in m10x1.25 55mm long and 4 in m10x1.5 50mm long (the 4 are for where the turbo bolts to the manifold). I can go to Nissan for the 12 where the manifold bolts to the head but I would prefer something a but stronger/longer lasting than standard. however the 4 where the turbo bolts to the manifold look as though they have been redrilled to a different thread than standard. So to the point does anyone have an idea on where I can get these from in the Sydney area, and preferably without paying an arm and a leg...
  7. Thanks guys, I will be looking for thinner spacers (not that mine are really that thick) and yep will be looking at rolling guards.
  8. The reason driftworks did it was for less weight and also more clearance when trying to achieve more lock (less arms etc in the way). Driftworks also used their special geo knuckles designed for S chassis which lowers the car 40mm I think without changing any suspension geometry.
  9. Lol I figured that would be the answer
  10. Wet and dry, polish then clear cost maybe?
  11. Hi, my wheels only just hit my rear brakes, I put on a 5mm(ish) spacer which solved the problem and now there's plenty of room, however the wheel already sat out of the guard a little bit and does so even more now. I've hear of people grinding back the caliper a little bit to solve this issue. I'm fairly hesitant about doing this, what does everyone else think, safe to shave off a few mil? It hits where the piston is (the circle basically). I would prefer not to buy new wheels but if i have to, to keep the car safe. Its not an offset issue it's a spoke design issue.
  12. Just had a look they have the roof wing and boot spoiler I want but in fibre glass not carbon, good start at least. Cheers
  13. Hi I'm after a roof wing for my 32 GTST preferably Carbon Fibre. I've had a google and only seem to find them for S13's also found some R32 ones on eBay a while ago but am a but hesitant as its probably cheap Chinese crap. Also once I find it and buy it, how do you fit it?
  14. GK tech now make these adapters BTW: http://www.gktech.com.au/product_detail.asp?id=GTRX-ADPT
  15. Good stuff thanks for the help, yea I realise just sorta escalated into something else quickly. Thanks and sorry.
  16. Do u have the space saver? If so how much?
  17. So the handbrake doesn't use the rear caliper? Edit: so they basically have a drum set-up (like on old cars) and a caliper and rotor? So the caliper and rotor is used for braking whereas the drum is used for the handbrake?
  18. I have 245s on 9.5" and they are pretty stretched, personally I wouldn't consider going any more stretch, I'm already debating on whether to go wider on my next set of tyres or not.
  19. Sorry I meant other people that have used them
  20. Thanks boostn, any other experiences?
  21. Hicas lock bars lock the rear wheels do that they no longer steer, it's basically a bar that replaces the hydraulic unit I think. Benefit is meant to be more predictability especially at higher wheel speed I believe. Pretty good for drift as you don't want the rear wheels turning, you want them to stay exactly the way they are.
  22. Afternoon, I'm doing a bit of research on some brake pads, I have an R32 GTST that is a weekender and will be seeing some drift days. I want to know what pads to run (mainly on the rear, to give good hand brake lock up). A concern I have is that pads that require heat to work well, I presume the odd handbrake in drifting isn't going to heat the pad well, is that right? So basically I'm asking what pads someone can recommend especially if they are in a similar situation (drifting a skyline). If you need more info let me know, cheers
  23. Anyone had direct experience with the above? Looking at buying front and rear camber arms for my 32 GTST and want some feedback on the driftworks items before I buy if possible. Cheers
  24. I Believe each state has their own laws therefore coilovers may be legal in NSW but not in QLD (just an an example).
  25. I'm going to roll the lip, keep the stretched tyres and add some camber, hoping I'm not going to need more than about 3 degrees of camber. If it ends up affecting performance too and tyre wear too much I'll get different rims down the track. Thanks for the input and feedback etc
