paul: i think i mite cancel it now that i know your associated with the painting side of things, just jokes better be a good job, its gonna be a hard one to colour match i rekon Dan: ummmm not to sure, cause it was just a all up price for the whole lot, fitted and painted, but i think the pods were about $120-$160 just supplied not painted and fitted, but there nice pods, they had 2 different types of pods, i saw the ones that you see alot of around but they had these other ones that were a bit bigger, made it look a bit fatter, so i went for them. Riaz: if ya still wanna take a look at the bleeder thats kewl, but still wouldnt mind seeing the bumper just to see what kind of job they did for future reference. but whenever if ya wanna wait till next cruise or so, thats kewl hope i didnt miss anyone  Cam.

400R front and i think they are 400R rears aswell, the rear is just the pods that stick on to your existing bumper, i already have 400R sides and a GTR wing, just gotta wait 2 weeks for the pods to come in and then get it all fitted up, works auto took care of it all, so its much easier than having to find a painter to paint them after ya get them... Cam

works auto, went there and there gonna do it, so its all good Thanks Cam

hehehe, me a bitch?? im gonna go sit in my corner and cry now hehehe, nah i was meaning the really OUT THERE veilside fronts, i have seen your one and it is nowhere near like the other veilside ones, hey i never even knew it was veilside bitch........ (oops, im back in my corner)
-
all i am after is a nice front bar, nothing too over the top like a veilside bar, just neat and looks better than my UGLY standard one, some of the 400R look-alike ones i have seen look good, i do know alot of the places that supply them, but just not sure of the good ones.

nah dont have any pics at the moment, but i probably could take some when i do mine again, now i just have to find a new motor from somewhere which is proving to be very difficult.....
-
wanted 1 x motor for electric window (drivers side), MUST BE WORKING!!! im spewing i could have got one over here for $180 but went back the next day and it was gone. Can anyone help Thanks Cam. P.S. im in perth but dont mind paying for postage.

its either the boss kit for aftermarket wheels, or a little white plastic thing that sits on your steering shaft, it goes brittle and breaks on the 33's, and then mucks up the sensor for HICAS

crooser: i thought exactly the same thing as you, but when you start undoing things it all seems to fall into place, the whole mechanism comes out as one piece, take the window out first, then undo 3 (i think) bolts near the motor and the whole thing should just pull out from inside the door panel, it was a bit difficult to remove the motor from the mechanism, i ended up heating it up with a mini blowtorch (the metal around the screw expands, loosening the screw) and then just undid the philips head screws holdeing the motor to the mechanism, bit of a pain, but looks like im gonna have to do it all again, just give us a yell if ya get stuck with anything Cam..

i know a detective that recently got a new partner from the traffic branch (prob same as Highway Patrol for eastern states) and he says that his new partner has got the total wrong attitude for policing, he said that, whenever she sees a hotted up car, no matter how it is being driven, she automattically wants to go and pull it over, and defect it, he has told her numerous occasions to pull her head in or go back to traffic where they do that kind of thing, and thats coming from someone in the force....... But there are alot of good cops out there and i must agree with what was said before, most of the time it is the older cops that are the reasonable ones, the young ones seem to be "badge happy", for an example, one time i got pulled over (not in a 'line) for a random breath test, by two cops, 1 old, 1 young, the young 1 was doing most of the work and the older one just seemed to be watching, i blew 0.0 in the RBT, and then he started to check the car out, on finding i had slightly bald tires, he said that he was going to defect me, on him saying this, the older cop has stepped in and said " there is no need for that, he can just come to the station in no more than 1 week and show me that he has put new tires on" i was very shocked that this happened, but at the same time happy and had alot of respect for the older cop for giving someone a chance and not just jumping straight into a work order as the younger one was going to do, and within the week i did go and present my car to him with some new rubber and that was it, all sweet, thats one reason why i have more respect for the older ones, it seems the older ones dont let the badge go to their head....... My 2c worth (more like $10 it was so long, sorry) Cam.

yeah thats what i thought, but when i took the door apart and gave the motor a good whack it started working again?? hmmm its a good one, i think ill get another motor, and see if it happens again, but ill give the switch assembly a good clean out while im there.
-
has anyone had a problem with the electric windows in R33's?? i replaced my window motor about 3 months ago as it slowly was getting slower, then it just stopped, it would work again when you gave it a whack, and now 3 months later it has happened again, does anyone have any clues on why this could be happening, as it is quite expensive to keep replacing the motors, the last one i got was $300 from Justjap, im not saying there was a problem with the motor, as it seems to be pointing at a problem with the car????? Any ideas on the subject?? Cam.......
-
yeah im pretty happy with my results, but with more practice hopefully i can get better, i still need to work on the cornering and need to get a bit better suspension setup in my car, but all will come with time. And me?? show pointers?? hmmmm ive only been doin it for 6 months, i dont think im good enough to give ppl pointers  and GTS-t VSPEC i told ya the stickers were good for something, hehehe :burnout: Cam

thats how i did it last year when i got my CAMS license, paid $20 to join with CCCSR (Combined Car Clubs Sports Register) and then just pay for the CAMS license, easy as, was up at MC's on sunday for the first round, was a very good day apart from the heat, i ended up in the top 3 cars of the day, which made it a bit better day, lol :burnout:

nothing else needed to wire in, its a complete stand alone unit. dont have anypics at the moment but ill try to grab some asap, but its relatively small and can easily be hidden and doesnt look ugly, it wont be for a little while till they are ordered, as we have to wait till we need other stuff from the supplier. Cam.

i got the keypad through my work, seeing as we are in the electronics industry i could get it for wholesale price, next time we order stuff through the distributor, i could see if i could get a couple more for anyone that wants one??

GR33DyMANGO: i would much rather get an alert for when the camera gets movement, as i have on my computer, as Gradenko said, the cops aren't gonna do stuff all about someone running around on a video tape, and especially in the pitch black of the nite time, it is very hard to identify someone from the Infra red, but the alert still goes off on my computer and can even send an email straight to u with an attached picture to tell u there is something wrong, (probably wouldnt help much by the time u got home to investigate) i just have it so i know whats there and if anyone is there you would think that by just turning on a light would usually scare them away. and if that fails, well there is always the trusty baseball bat, only to play baseball of course i am actually going to upgrade my Infra red camera, cause i want more nite time seeing power, the one i have has a limited number of IR LEDS, i am planning on getting one with 20 IR LEDS so it lights up the area a bit more. and as for price it all depends on what kind of picture quality u wantthe cheapies i dont like cause u cant really even make out much of the picture with them, so u should go for the middle range ones unless u wanna spend heaps... Hope that helps ya Geez that was a big ramble on, its late, time got away from me, hahahaha

hahahaha nice one GTS-t VSPEC, im gonna win the next horsepower shootout cause of the stickers and all the EXTRA HORSEPOWER they give :burnout:

you can hook it up as part of an alarm, but i prefer to do it totally seperate from ur alarm system, just like a seperate immobiliser so to speak, im not gonna tell ya where mine is attached to, hehe, but you attach it anywhere that wont allow the car to start without power. ie: fuel pump, starter motor, ecu, the list goes on. ya need any help let me know... Cam.
