The laws good but should still run through the courts, as it is now you have no chance to defend yourself, which means your guilty until proven innocent, if found guilty in the court system, sure confiscate the car for the said amount of time, but its just wrong to just rely on the word of the cop and not give the car owner/user a chance in defending him/her self in the appropriate manner.

the law would be good if ALL cops were honest, i have no objection to the actual law, its the abuse it will get from certain cops out there which will make it a very bad situation, i have been charged a while back for doing a burnout which i still to this day did not do, went to court over it and the cops word was taken over about 6 witnesses, and that included 1 expert witness which analyses rubber, tred patterns etc etc, so in the end i got charged, basically they went on the charge "create undue and excessive noise" which apparently is very hard to defend, as it comes down to the police officer to make a "judgement" on what is excessive and undue, im not trying to have a winge on what i was done for, that was long ago and im over it, but i will never trust a cops word in the future and have lost alot of respect for them, there are alot of good ones out there but the bad ones spoil it for the rest thus giving the whole force a bad name, so in the current form i think the new "hoon" law is just waiting to be abbused, as someone else said, sure the laws good but dont take the cops word for it and his only, make some kind of photographic or video footage to go with the police officers statement and then i can see the law working my 2c

yeah if u have the wrong boss kit on your aftermarket steering wheel will cause the light to come on, mine did it cause i had the wrong boss kit.

the one next to wanneroo markets is just going through the SEVS approval for the R34's, they have a non-turbo white one for sale there, but the other 34 they have there is a 4-door turbo that they are using for approval, not for sale yet.

i have 2 (was a set but just sold a pair) standard R33 GTS-t rims for sale, rims are in very good condition, no chunks taken out etc etc.... fitted with TOYO Proxes RA1 225/50/16 Competition tyres, in quite good condition, im no expert with tread wear, but i would estimate, 60-70% tread left, tyres were used in motorkahna events for 1 season. see this website for info on tyres. http://www.toyojapan.com/new_tires/proxes_ra1/ $300 for the pair. Would prefer a Perth buyer, but if your east and want to pay postage your quite welcome to, not sure how much it would cost. Cheers

if i ever have to drive when me and mates go out, its 2 drinks max for me, thats what this guy would have had, but i know some ppl that after 2 drinks they are like i am after 10, so it effects ppl different ways, but thats the law, you have to abide by it, i do feel for him a bit cause as R34 said, if it were one of us NOT on P Plates, nothing would of happened...... cops WILL sticker you for anything, legal or not, a guy at the pits told me that, he said the cops are going against anything they say with regards to mods etc etc.. neons are no exception, i had the piece of paper from the pits which said they are allowed but the cop said he didnt care and stickered me anyway, went to the pits and the sticker got removed, no cost or inspection, and the police involved got spoken to by the dept. transport to try to re-enforce that they are legal. turn them on but just be prepared to be hassled by anti-ricers and police

Zanda you were right....... i popped down at lunch to see ken, and after him checking it and putting somemore fluid in it, it was fine, it was between the markers on the reserviour, but must have been too low...... Thanks to ken at hyperdrive, and dont laugh at me too hard it was an honest mistake!!! hehehehe

Hi ppl. i have a problem with my power steering whereas it will make a huge groaning sound when first started (cold start) and turning the wheel, but as the car warms up it gets less noticable, ive been told that it could be the fluid needs changing, fluid could be burnt? i am getting this looked at this saturday, but the guy thats looking at it has asked me to see if i could find a power steering pump just in-case it is that, he doesnt usually work on lines so thats why he asked me to do it. so to the point, does anyone in perth have a power steering pump laying around they want to get rid of, i mite not need it if it is just the fluid, but it is better to know that i can obtain the part if he needs it, then it can all be fixed in the same day........ its a R33 SI thanks ppl......
