  5. geez it seems like skyline windows are a killer, i had to replace my drivers side window motor and a spring let go and came down on my thumb, and it required 5 stitches, BE CAREFUL OF YOUR WINDOWS.....
  6. i keep trying to tell ppl to use toothpaste on your headlights, hehehe, its something most ppl have already got in the house, so saves you having to go and buy something and it works real good too, mine were discusting then i used toothpaste and they came up brandnew. my 2c.
  7. HKS pod passed fine, and got a permit too, i dont think they are too picky, as long as it is fastened properly and not left just hanging loose tied up with cable ties or something..... that was east perth examination centre...
  8. night time cruise would be good, havent been on one for a while
  9. ya dont need to buy expensive plastic cleaner to clean your headlights, just go to your bathroom and grab the toothpaste and clean your headlights with that, it works a treat, i did mine 2 weeks ago and took before and after pics too
  10. hehhehe, im not used to typing with one hand, i can sort of use my right hand, but its a bit difficult, as its bandaged up. Al: yeah it was the motor that i got off Dr_Drift, dont matter ill be rite, just temporary loss of use of my right hand, hahaha Macka: if ya dont have to unscrew the 3 screws that are on the motor you'll be rite as it only springs back when u take those screws out rs73: did you want a pic of the actual motor? i can take one and PM it to you if u want. Boostzor: its the first bad injury ive had while working on the car, hehe, but im sure there are plenty more to come.....
  11. guys and gals, make sure yas watch out if ya ever have to replace a window motor in a r33, i was just doing mine and when i took the motor off it sprung back onto my thumb and nearly chopped it off!!!! arrrrr, i could see tendans and nearly to the bone, just required 6 stiches, just a word of warning to anyone that ever goes to change a window motor!! Cam. (watch that spring)
  12. dont like that idea hehehe
  13. i got fined once for not diplaying a numberplate properly, it was in the front window as i didnt have holes in the front bumper for the plate yet, the gave me a $50 fine with no demerits for "Obscuring numberplate" i know someone else with a sticker for their numberplate, and i think hey have been fined once, and they only got the $50 fine too, but it seems strange they have summoned you for such a small thing????? Cam.
  14. good point there NIZMO, hehehe but some of the ball dresses arent that big these days, not much clothing on some of them, but i wont complain, hehehe but im in, if ya can fill my car up to with some hot chicks, hahaha
  15. they look like the same tread pattern that a few of the guys at motorkahna days use, so yeah as GTS-t SPEC said
  16. i like the second idea, one of us to drive the GTR (pick me pick me)
  17. yeah just PM'd macka, he is using it he said, but thanks anyway paul. ill just keep looking

  19. you dont wanna just sell it??? in perth.
  20. **gotta bump this thread back up to the top.** the bits i wanted never came in, so need to find another place or anyone with s/hand 400R bumper and pods??? i would have waited till the next container came in but i need to have it all finished in 3 weeks Cam
  21. Boostzor: agree with most of what you said but alot of the time they are not "yellowing" cars for things that are "wrong" with it, they just do it for stupid stuff, like air filters, steering wheels, etc etc. i dont know if this is what your meaning by something wrong with it, if you are forget my post, hehehe
  22. yeah my last R33, i wont go fully into it, cause it would be off topic, but simply, bashed, hand over keys, hospital, high speed chase, write off car, and now nothing will be done, it sh*ts me cause i had a full no claim of 60% too, now down to 0% my insurance has skyrocketed, they say they dont have enough evidence, and yet they have fingerprints and DNA (from blood) and they HAVE matched to it someone, but they need more evidence, GEEZ what more can ya have, its seems like they want them to admit to it...... sorry for the off topic...
  23. yeah you read it write, and yeah thats what i thought when they told me, we are trying to take it further now, but not getting very far, you cant do much when your just average joe blow.
  24. alot of the younger ones do have a problem, they think just cause ive got a badge im one better than you and i can do whatever i want and u can do stuff all about it. but as i said before, there not all the same, just alot of the younger ones need an attiude change. I was a victim of a car-jacking and to see the cops just close the case when they have admitted they know who one of the offenders were, well that lost my respect for the police force. Cam.
  25. just because a cop THINKS something shouldnt be there or THINKS something is too low doesnt justify a yellow sticker i think, why should we have to pay the 50 odd dollars because a cop THINKS something is wrong, only to find out when you have it inspected it is perfectly LEGAL, thats the only problem i have with yellow stickers, i think they should try to concentrate more on giving the bombs on the road yellows, not the enthusiasts cars.
