  6. Around the 4-5k mark for a decent system including a decent management system like Accuair. So it's not cheap.. but it will likely make the ride softer than what you currently have, plus then you can run whatever height you want. Need air tank(s), compressor(s), bags, lines from compressor to tank, lines from tank to bags, fittings, management system. It's technically only legal if you also have the auto levelling system installed with it (and probably an engineers cert), however this will not allow you to adjust it on the fly, only when parked. I think driving mode is then set at the minimum legal height for your car too.. which doesn't sound overly fun. If you don't go around slamming it and pumping it while driving then it's not likely that you will get done, but if you're spotted playing with it, or hard parking somewhere with it on the ground then you may get some unwanted attention haha. But it would be tempting! www.accuair.com
  7. V35s and V36s windows automatically slide down a few cm when you open the door and then automatically slide up a few cm once you close the door. This allows for the top edge of the window to lock in under the top sil.If you disconnect the battery with the door closed then go to open the door, the window will not slide down the required amount so you either wont be able to open the door or if you can the window will probably catch - possibly causing damage.. who knows, but I dont want to find out haha. Anyway so once you disconnect the battery and reconnect it you need to perform the auto window relearn procedure so that it operates correctly again. Not hard to do, goes something like.. hold window button down until window winds all the way down and keep holding for 5 secs or so afterwards, then hold button up until winds all the way up and keep holding for 5 secs or so afterwards. Should then be fixed. The exact instructions are online if you want to check, just google/search sau for v36 window relearn procedure
  8. Thanks very much for your help! Out of interest how long did you have the car with no power to it? Just wondering if the other relearn procedures are perhaps required when the battery has been disconnected for a longer period of time compared to say a few minutes to just change the battery? On the other hand maybe they're more optional and not actually required just because the battery has been disconnected?
  9. Hi all, Looking for some help (have searched) Im wanting to remove my drivers seat to fix a squeaky lower cushion and have been looking at many writeups regarding needing to disconnect the battery so that I don't set off the airbags or make the airbag light illuminate on the dash cluster. What I'm not sure about though is what is going to need to be reprogrammed/calibrated after I reconnect the battery once the seat is all back in the car and connected again? I've been reading about the ECU reset procedure and the automatic window relearn procedure, but i've read conflicting information regarding whether or not I will actually need to reset the ECU or the idle or accelorator or the various other relearn procedures..? If anyone is able to tell me what will need reprogramming that would be greatly appreciated as I REALLY want to get this right and not cause myself more issues. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance
  10. Here we go, found the site I was talking about. Some pretty good stuff here! www.ionicdynamics.com/ProductsNEW3.html
  11. There is a US website that made customer grilles, lips, spoilers, etc for G35/G37's.. I can't remember for the life of me what it was right now.. but if I come across it again I'll post it up in here.. Perhaps someone else may know the site I'm talking about (not outcast btw), they do a lot of carbon stuff as well (pricey, but look to be good quality). Anyway I'll get back to you if I find it again
  12. Can't just cut and splice the wiring from the current antennas to the new antenna plug for the new box? #dodgybrothers haha
  13. Is there any way to tell if the antennas are compatible? Thinking about get a PAL system for mine, but CBF if have to run new antennas..
  14. Yep, last weekend I drove the black manual one in question that Sinergy have at the moment (not currently advertised). As mentioned, I did enjoy driving it as manual, but drove an auto paddle shift model this weekend and definitely happy with that also. Plus a test drive only runs for a little while, may be a different story after a few weeks of driving a manual version in traffic etc each day. Anyway leaning more towards auto-paddle at this stage
