Stagea Group Buy Whiteline & Bilstein
muck replied to Sydneykid's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
i have teh exact same problem with the fronts springs... they are much too wide for the lower spring seat......... hence i thought someone put the wrong spring seats with the shocks... because the rear seat fitted much better with the front springs....... -

hey alex, unfortunately im not lucky enough to have a hoist in my garage i just use the hoist in the workshop.. which i call the garage the car is actually on the hoist with half the suspension off... hopefully it will be all good tomorrow.. good thing the shocks come out very easily.. so its not too much of a stress moving everything around.... i didnt get teh camber kits... as i wasnt going to drop teh car that serverely.... -

unfortunately.. its much too low for me to be functional........ atm the front is sitting 690mm... and the lowest we could prolly get it is 670mm...... back to the 660 that i started with would be ideal... unfortunately.. i cant seem to get that with this setup.... alex... sure thing mate... we can organise something.. the car is still in the garage.. i think theres something wrong with my install.... it seems insanely low at the back at the highest setting... ill let u know once we sort it out.. it does look pretty nice that low tho... shame i cant even get the front that dumped.. for a full photo.. looks pretty stupid atm.... -

i attempted putting them on my car the last 2 days... and got severly confused also.... the fatter springs (ones pictured left) matched the stock front springs.. but didnt match the lower spring seat that came with the front shockers(smaller ring).. it did match the rear spring seat tho.... and the thinner springs ( ones pictured right) matched the stock rear springs... but didnt match the lower spring seat (bigger ring) that came with the rear shockers... the flat side on the rear springs we had on the top....... anyway.... my car ended up 630mm down from 660mm on the back using the highest setting on the shocks....... so i think ive done something wrong...... dodgy photos came from my phone as i didnt have a camera on me in the garage.. -

there just doesnt seem to be a market for stageas... the same ones have been on the market for a very long time..... it seems regardless of price.. there just isnt enough common knowledge about them....... honestly tho.. a fair price for a s1 stagea .. would be between 16-18k..... i did notice a blue s2 stagea manual in richmond yesterday morning.... ugly car that one.....

SK.. the older soundstreams had very good construction and execellent SQ... the newer ones just didnt have the same standard as the old ones...... oh.. im running alpine iva-d300e 7in indash screen.... everything else is stock for now...
-
thanks.. i stand corrected.......... so do these differ at all from the yellow top optimas? or are they similar to teh red top optimas? im completely confused now...
-
SK... i was actually thinking the other day about what amp would fit in that lhs 1/4.... which soundstream model are u running.. an older series or the newer range stuff? brendan... my r33 came with an amp under the drivers seat.. i found my front seat got rather warm after a spirited session of music listening..... and the amp came out looking like it had been in the car for 30 years.... does the amp go snuggly under the seat? might consider it under the passenger seat if so..

Odyssey design: * 3 year full warranty * Rugged Drycell sealed design * Military grade * Vibration resistant * 60% more starting power * Deep discharge reserve power <--- deep cycle? * 2 year storage life * 8-12 year design life * Can be mounted in any orientation im not saying you are selling inferior product wrxhoon... as i considered buying one of these from you.... but u were vague into what u were selling..... i was under the impression i would have been purchasing a deep cycle battery at a very good price.... and perhaps there could ahve beeen others also... comparision to the supercharge gold batteries would be more accurate i think... big car audio in the boot.. is why you would probably want a deep cycle battery..... for those after a deep cycle battery ... optimas and odesseys are still your path.. is what im trying to say.. thats all...
-
im not a battery expert.. but i dont think these batteries are similarly spec'd to the said odessey range of batteries...... the inside of the batteries are completely different....... these batteries seem to be your common car battery.. sealed and maintanence free and lacking deep cycle.

best thing to do at any scene of an accident is to write a statement yourself.. and get involved parties to sign... this way.. no one can ever go back on anything.... esp. when they dont can sleep over what happen.. the stories seem to change the following day.... this keeps the insurance company extremely easy to deal with.. esp. if u have 3rd party insurance..... ull find they suddenly turn from being no help... to very helpful...

muck replied to muck's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
SK.. your definately on the money there.... ian and alex kindly gave me the 101 on the tie rod..... and come to conclusion that the ball joint is up the creek..... these ball joints are they same as those on 33s ? gtr? gtst? i guess then its time to find a part number -
the clear indicators came wiht the car
