Hey Loach, I assume you would have already done this but have you looked around in the basement/upstairs kind of stores in Akihabara? I remember when I was there it was a goldmine of technological treasures. Evidently you'll know much more than me, but I haven't seen anyone mention Aki yet so thought I'd chuck it out there (well I only read this page).

As for your photography, You're still on that point and shoot, right? not much you can do except make sure you're choosing the right setting for the environment and then maybe doing some editing on the PC afterwards - but for these purposes, I don't think you need to go to all that trouble (the editing, I mean) unless you have a lot of time and nothing to do. Unless, you also intend to start a blog or something, then you may want to. In fact..I have an idea. Have a quick read of the blog linked in my siggie, and then shoot me a PM when you've had a look, just a hi will do, then I will suggest something.

The piping is black because it has been coated with heat-dispersant paint. Comes with original ARC hose joiners.. Note: pictures show there are a couple of squashed fins in a row, FMIC arrived like this, I don't think it affects performance and wouldn't be too hard to fix. FMIC still works perfectly. Post up in the QLD section mate, they'll more likely be able to help you out rather than here in the general section - though, simple things like: changing oil, air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter, coolant flush, can all be done yourself (may take you longer, but do it slowly and do it right) even if you're not that handy with tools/parts. Lots of guides around the forum!

So so so true. had a black 34 GTT - it looked THE BEST when it was wet from the rain, at night. Like some kind of sleek, sexy, stealth machine. But yes as with what everyone else said, I had to wash it once a week or two weeks at the most, it would be 'dirty' pretty much after cleaning it. But, black looks super nice at night, wet or not. And always keep it under cover when not in use! I also found giving it a good waxing helped keep it clean. Even sometjing like the meguair's quick wax.

I've used the meguiar's dash product, not sure if it's the exact same one you've mentioned in your post (will have to check the garage tomorrrow) but i can say that i can't fault it either, works and looks great, easy to use.

Bump, just met another GTT owner on the weekend who also has the same nismo clutch as me. They also have the same sounds and they told me it's the nismo clutch, not the gearbox. So, that leaves the paint as the only bad point of this car.
