ok not sure if nobody actually has feedback but just got this month's newsletter and one thing: there is no point of contact (or did i miss it?) mentioned in the email? "let us know" and "feel free to contact us" has no meaning if we have no idea WHO to contact! of course, correct me if i'm wrong. secondly i saw that you had social network submitter, i would be interested to help out with that since i'm at a pc and fairly able to post on twitter/fb most of the time.

I meant window tint, not reverse light tint! My windows are dark enough that at night even with the LEDs i can barely see sh(t, i have to put the windows down - and then, it's like daytime. Located in the northern parts, around Ryde/Gordon! Hopefully see you on a cruise or an event or something?

Yeah, pretty much just splice the pos/neg of one panel onto the pos/neg of the other panel, but because the panels already have sockets/connectors, don't remove both, just splice one panel ONTO another one - if you have two sitting in front of you you'll know what i mean. Don't snip off the socket from BOTH panels. I followed the tutorial as shown by Charles, pretty easy in fact I didn't even really follow it, it's just logic! BTW 192 LEDs is no use if your window tint is too dark.............feck

Bonnet Gap In This Car Im Going To Look At.
darksky34 replied to starwarz's topic in General Automotive Discussion
thanks guys - i forgot to mention that the reason i think mine sags is, one of the tabs is broken, that holds it to the ....rad support??? NFI what it's called, but yeah one of the tabs is broken - now the question is WHY it is broken as the bar itself has no real hit damage, and i actually tried to take off the front bar itself to fix it up - and found it VERY difficult to take off, and the bolts holding the front bar on were consistent with the age of my car, in fact i get the very distinct impression i don't think it's ever been off in the first place. i was asking more out of curiousity though, i THINK mine doesn't have front hit, -

on the topic of panel gaps: if there are panel gaps (for example, between front bar and bottom of headlights, i.e. it is sagging a bit) but no repairs done to the bar (ie. it is still in original condition, and not actually damaged) then how likely is it that anything serious is damaged underneath? -
I may have confused you regarding the naming of SMDs...what i meant was, convert the single-bulb reverse light into a panel LED, as seen here. and GHO5T, 666DAN doesn't own the store anymore.

with you there, i think they need to really REALLY fix up sydney's infrastructure, just in general because it's SO SH*T

fusion, i'm very interested in your hazard lights and glove box lights - can you share your links to the bulbs?

HAHAHAHAHHA you just had to use wrestling -
The big ring (really wish there was a more...professional name) takes T20 bulbs - just search T20 single/dual filament bulbs, same as the indicators - and the small ones are 2xT10s, so same as parkers. I got this set, as with most of my LEDs for any purpose - been buying from this shop for years and pretty good quality for a very good price, and bulk buying is often very good. Pro tip: buy a 10-pack of LED SMDs, and convert your interior dome/reverse lights =D and yes, will get pics soon enough!

yes, garage sale would be awesome -
Surely you've replaced other bulbs on your car? ie. interior lights, parker lights, licence plate lights? Same thing for the tail lights. Just bulbs. So yes, ebay. Except for the big ring (single bulb) I managed to get a very unique LED bulb - my mate had them custom made for his car by AXIS (i think) in japan, and so they're a one off - but he's selling his car so i got the bulbs =)

Fs: 2 X Category A Manchester United Tickets 20 July Sydney
darksky34 replied to darksky34's topic in For Sale (Other Items)
Face value is 200$ each so price should be $400. Apologies. Have contacted a mod to get this changed. If it helps reason for selling: bought these tickets with a mate, then another group of mates had cheaper tickets so we thought we'd go for those instead, so putting these up. -
I have two of these for sale, right next to each other so great for bringing a mate/date! Price is negotiable. Postage is available but i think the best option is for the buyer to pick up. Place can be arranged, please call, sms or PM price is 500$ for them both, negotiable 04 two two 83 nine triple 8

yes AGREED, i'm gonna bring those little foldable stools...my back was destroyed after standing for 3hrs in one spot! -
You know how for the big red ring, it is one filament bulb, and the small red ring, is two filament bulbs? I swapped all of those out for LED bulbs - as opposed to actually getting nismo LED lights. So, now the rings are much brighter - but there is no 'LED pattern'. I'll get a pic up soon, might be going for a quick shoot this weekend. I doubt it will look very different to stock, from a pic, but to the naked eye, it is a much more intense and brighter red. ^as for above, don't nismo items usually have 'nismo' somewhere on them!? yours look pretty good in terms of build quality though, very clean.

R34Gtt Cusco Coilovers Vs Bc Br
darksky34 replied to rondofj's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Personal opinion is that unless you plan on slamming/raising your car every other weekend, and stiffening/softening it for the track/drags/drifting every other weekend also, coilovers are not suitable! A nice set of Bilsteins and king springs (or, go JDM and buy espelir, RSR, ohlins, cusco even, eibach - all springs) will be much better for a pure street car. I have Bilsteins and king springs. Great ride. -
haven't done it myself but i see it going 3 ways: 1. peel off, throw away, paint. 2. peel off, keep in folder, paint. keep for future reference. 3. peel off, paint, stick back on!

Here's one i took. A bit of editing, obviously, and still very very new to photography. Also, have new bulbs in my tail lights so can't wait to take new pics, them rings look even better now.
-
your best bet would be nismo floor mats, they look nice! and are still available. or else, look through wrecks/sale section here.

the entire catalogue. f*ck. wow.
