Toyota Mark X 350S
darksky34 replied to maclarenf1's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
and instead, what did we get? V6 spaceships! so many awesome family sedans over in japan, and we get their crappy watered down versions. -
just for your future reference, it is ALTIA not Altima....because Altima is a boring nissan sedan, and Altia is the sports kit for our 34s!

was just at toyota mega web in tokyo, my mate had a test drive, and i was the passenger. that thing pulls like a beast and stops on a dime. it drives better than my skyline.......almost made me cry. awesome family sedan, could be heaps of fun + still move the family round. -

First Time Skyline Owner, With Some Questions
darksky34 replied to AZgts4's topic in Introduce yourself
sounds like a job for nissan FAST. not sure how much that'll help you though, really depends on what specific info you're after -
sand back lightly, then respray. that's about it, apart from getting a custom dash getting made up. i know who can do that for you though.

yeah couldn't get into seeing crew members online last night, had to wait for invites or else 'join crew members' usually ended up with DVDDDD or emmadamo and missjaboo ... freakin emmadamo you smashed me in the head with your gun and killed me, right after i pumped a guy who was trying to kill you! otherwise, was real fun. also sorry to the guys who i failed on survival last game last night, was being silly and thought i could take last guy out with sniper...ahahaha oh and add me as friends guys, kirasuran

1. Fistfights (separated into weapons/no weapons) 2. Races down the drain with 8 people. mad fun 3. MISSIONS (survival, proper missions) 4. Deathmatches can't wait! and yeah birds good point, the first time me and some mates discovered we get to keep the weapons once out of survival, was GOLD!
-
looking forward to this tonight. also, can we have a massive fistfight?
-
just buy one! actually, any old bluetooth mic should be able to pair up with your PS3. the official PS3 ones are only ~35$ now anyways!
-
when i was playing with you, i accidentally ejected out of the jet (WOW this sentence is really ghey) and had to parachute down and get another jet...halfway across the map, you finished the mission.

R34 Gtt Clutch And Installation
darksky34 replied to MrRx7s3's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
^haha excellent reply as always! I'm in your same shoes, except i'll never breach 200kw (if ever), and I recently snapped up the Nismo single plate clutch + nismo flywheel from another member here. Went to my mechanic, asked him - he said it should be about 500$ for all of that. My mechanic is in hornsby, PM me if you want more details. -
had some fun races with ghost last night, freaking hate the cardboard on 'down the drain', coming first by a mile and then car just flips/does a 360 into a wall......FML will be on again tonight!

accomodation will be hard to find for 4 people if you intend on being in one room - or it will be very expensive, and in a big hotel - so pretty much you will have to split up. hard to find rooms with 2 single beds too, so if you don't mind sleeping in the same bed....ahahahhaha as for travelling, get a SUICA or JR rail pass. that's all i know.

I think that you know a lot more than me about this, and my own electrical knowledge is very limited. With this in mind, you really do have the freedom to do whatever you want, just make it work! Double filaments sound good - or use LED bulbs!
-
I don't think many people would have done it because Australian road regulations require a front turn signal - and possibly 'headlight corner bulb' (= parker lights to us). So no, i don't think many would have done that. Though, logically thinking about it, isn't it as simple as wiring the headlight loom to the parker bulb loom...? and sticking in a relay to reduce the flashing/controller unit to make it do what you want?

i used to have 17 x 9.5 + 35 on the rear and it was perfectly flush. i don't think it'll be a huge amount but yeah it probably won't be FLUSH

here's a tip for you, most cost effective TEMPORARY - mid term solution = get some black shoe polish and a cloth, and buff it out. By buff it out obviously i don't mean it will buff out but the polish will fill in the scratches and it won't be very noticeable, to the point that if you don't pay attention you wont notice them there. That of course depends on how deep those scratches are, though yours looks as bad as mine, so yeah it'll work.
