  1. Any stags near the HORSNBY area in Sydney - that wouldn't mind showing me their car? Don't even want to drive it, just want to look. Interested in buying one but doing research right now.
  2. indeed! that is certainly on my mind, as I wouldn't mind buying one with exhaust, blow off, air filter (or is that pod filter) done already...and maybe some nice rims on it. certainly would be cheaper to buy one like that (one on carsales.com right NOW actually, which is EXACTLY what i'm after) &sort=default"]http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-2000-13423694?eapi=2&base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=0&find=black|CarAll&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%201216&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year:1999,2000&items=[Make:NISSAN,Model:SKYLINE,BaseEnabledBadge:25GT-T]&sort=default do you happen to know if this person is on SAU?
  3. hahah thanks for the suggestion, reason I am looking here is that it seems a car found here will have more care put into it than something i'm likely to find outside!
  4. pics please? may be interested!
  5. anybody know who AY70-- is, black r34 in pymble!? Parked under carport, drive past every week. know i've said this before but really jealoussss
  6. also budget will be ~15k, preferably in SYDNEY, NSW
  7. Hey all, Just starting to reach out some tentacles (weird analogy) to see if anyone here has the car that i'm looking for. Pretty simple, as i'm VERY new to the whole car/skyline scene, I want to start off with stock. Criteria: R34 year 2000 (series 2) Stock as possible Black. Manual. <100,000km I've trawled the forums for the past month or two, and actually found it fairly difficult to find a car such as this for sale. I also keep a regular eye on carsales + trading post. Anyway, biggest point is, I'm still saving up the money now so mainly, I'm putting this up for anyone to see, who has such a car, that I will be looking to buy it around January 2013.
  8. So much bb gtr envy right now
  9. damn that is one nice volvo, maybe i should head over to vovlosaustralia.com eh? never actually seen a blue one with a spoiler either.
  10. every time i see a bayside blue, i jazzzzzzzzzzzzzz @jdm performance wow nice to see another wahroonga-er. what up.
  11. oh interesting... been driving past this car an awful lot, r34 BLACK parked in the driveway along lane cove rd near pymble......very clean and stock looking (from what i see each time i pass). I want to buy it. anybody know who it is? hello if you're here!
  12. for someone new to the whole world of cars (as a hobby), is there anywhere you guys can recommend for servicing/tuning in Sydney, NSW preferably around the northern areas (hornsby to parramatta) ? Haven't got a skyline YET but am gathering info.
  13. @34GeeTeeTee yeah not new to forums themselves, so definitely more aware than the next noob or two in what to say and what not to say. Looking forward to learning more from this forum and you guys. @madbung thanks for that pic, you just helped me confirm that the R34 is the sexiest beast out of all. personal preference of course, so i'd be glad to park it next to a 32 or 33. and i'll make sure there is JUST enough space to get into the 33/32 =D. I'm a massive fan of the square-ness of the 34. Hoping to get a GTT then move onto a 34GTR in a few more years. Don't know where i'll find that extra money but hey, i don't have a GTT now (nor the money) so who says I can't do it? @luke GTR yeah thanks mate, my friend has given me the same warning, take it slow and have a good look at a RANGE of 34s before i decide on which to buy - that way i'll know the good and the bad ones. having said that........embarrassing to say but i need to learn manual first HAHAH only had a few lessons with my friends, getting the hang of it but I don't think it's very good for my street cred if i can barely get the car moving if i'm test driving it eh? @tai1or made cheers. don't quite get which is the sophisticated land yacht but.....ok. is it the 35? too round...too round.
  14. Thanks mate, already read that "what to look for when buying a skyline" thread, though that checklist is mega long but will bring my friend (R33) and his friend (WRX) to have a look. Funny thing is, most of my friends are mad about cars but i've never really cared - just a mode of transport for me. Friends have: mx5, prelude, r33, s15, chaser. pretty good collection aye? hahahaha
  15. Hey all, Took a ride in my mate's R33 GTST and basically made my mind up on the spot to buy an r34GTT. Always liked that car, but never thought about really buying one. Just got a job so will be in the market for one in the next few months, hence why I've joined here. Been reading for a little while, feel like an ant. Anyway, I'll be looking for a BLACK R34 GTT stock as possible (or cleanly modified) some time in the next 4 months, so just preparing myself with some knowledge. If anyone remembers this post in 4 months' time, feel free to remember me and let me know that you know of a car which suits my criteria. Till then, see you round.
