  1. And will it be ok to run the car without the heat exchanger to see if thats the issue?
  2. No vct, its a 25/30 using a non vct r32 rb25de head, car is very low on oil pressure and slow to get it, and as I didn't build the motor, I have no idea if an oil restricter was used or not..
  3. Nah it's not chemiweld, Definitley oil And no, It does't rise that fast, the water/oil in the radiator does however surge when the car is running.
  4. manual mate, is definitely engine oil
  5. Hey guys, this is my first post here, and is not a very happy one I have just bought an RB30DET A31 Cefiro and today I looked in the radiator and it is full of oil. There doesnt seem to be any water in the oil though, car still boosts fine, no loss of power, doesn't overheat, no bubbles in the radiator, no smoke or water coming from exhaust or anything that you would expect from a blown head gasket or cracked head. A mechanic has told me it could be the oil heat exchanger could be faulty or damaged. Has anyone had this problem? I REALLY don't want to have to replace the head gasket. Cheers, Lawrence
