if you have an air filter with a 3inch neck. alot of people will have problems. the adaptor and filter you are using is not providing proper coverage of the MAF sensor. the proper filter to use for this which is trivial is oval type k&n filter designed for MAF. alternatively you can just use an air filter with a 4inch neck with suitable adaptor. this is clear up any restriction there is on the MAF sensor.
