Hi Guys, I would be really keen, but need to know: what is the difference with reverse or not? I have seen the ones that uniqueauto has and they look way too bright. the pic you attached is spot on with brightness... no too noticable from other cars and satellites.... Rob.

Alright Guys, I would really like to narrow this down for the benefit of all. Are there ANY series 1 gtst owners out there getting over 400km per tank? Lets do a quick survey: - What petrol are you using; - What mods (if any) and be specific (an exhaust mod can range from cat-back to muffler...); - Have you reset your ecu since you got the car - How many kms the car has done when you bought it (or now if ya cant remember) - I think the boost guage is in a series 1 - what does it read when you hammer the car - 4-5500rpm - Idle speed when cold, then when warm That's all I can think of at the moment, when we have a few answers, I will draft up a table and whack it on my website so we can see in a table or something, some similarities. Here are my answers: 1. BP Ultimate (am on 4th tank in a row now) 2. From what I can tell - only the exhaust system was changed to fit compliance. I did notice that my ecu does not have any LED system on it for Diag mode (?) 3. The second night I got it, disconnected the battery, pumped the brake 6 times 4. 85500 (close) 5. When 4000rpm+ it hits the first bar between 0 and +7. At 5500 and up it goes another quarter to be between the first bar and +7 6. When cold - 1100, warm - 850ish... Rob

srb33, tell us all how you go with the new O2 sensor. I can't believe that we all drive these awesome cars and have such a range fuel consumption out of em! O2 sensor eh? Interesting. Just out of interest, are any of you the first owners of the car when it was imported - i am. Hi All, I have been reading about this issue for ages before I purchased my Line. I got a 97 series 2 gtst manual. I use nothing but BP Ultimate after reading the thread on why optimax was not good. Anyway, I have no mods. Just a different exhaust for compliance when she was brought into the country. I am getting roughly 480-560 off a tank. I only ever run till the light comes on - so I usually fill up just under 60litres. If I drive like I have a speed addiction (who doesn't...) I get just under 500kms. I don't understand why you guys get such poor distance??? Happy to try and list differences between my car and yours to see where the issues may be? Rob

Hi Guys, I just got 560km off my tank of BP Ultimate. I am not running any mods - stock 97gtst with different exhaust (damn compliancing...) I am not sure what everyone is on about only 300~km off a tank.... ???
