thx you guys for the replies but i'm a lil lost here. what's a dc2r and a dc5r? im guessing they mean integras but which yr and model? i'm actually looking at the stock 02/03 integra models for a compromise between a sporty looking car and a more fuel effiecient, 4 people mover. how much can i expect with regards to it's fuel consumption and servicing costs? also is the rear space adequate for people of average height? (175cm thereabts)

hi guys. i'm considering whether to sell my 93 r33 gtst line and get an 02 integra and i was hoping for some input (be they positive or negative). here are the reasons for wanting to switch. 1) fuel con. on the line is killing me. i'm doing 16l per 100 km and ive read tt the stock integra runs at 9l per 100km. true? 2) servicing costs. the car is really showing is age n i fear its gona get more expensive to maintain it. does anyone know much it costs to service an integra? i'd appreciate any caveats or pros you guys might have to add. thx guys!

when i was shopping for my skyline alot of owners said they sometimes used premium, sometimes normal. what does using normal fuel do to the car?

in view of today's petrol prices, my pocket is starting to hurt a little, making me consider dispensing with the premium highhorse. does pumping normal unleaded petrol screw your car up or is it ok?does it hurt future salability?

hey there guys. i was thinking of selling my r33 in a private sale but am not sure how to go about doing it. could anyone run me by a list? i've got a few concerns 1) the prospective buyer's gona want to test drive it. what's stopping him from crashing my car during the test drive and getting away with it? 2) i have to go to vic roads to transfer ownership or something, rite? does that mean i have to include a rwc as well? also, i know that car conditioning is impt, but around how much would a 86000kms '93 r33 series 1 turbo manual with a hks bov,apexi air filter,type m body, n greddy turbo timer go for now? thanks in advance for your input

okie. just to satisfy my curiousity cuz i couldn't get this answered in another thread. are p-platers allowed to drive r33 gtst skylines with all that power to weight ratio stuff?

wasn't alluding to that. my mechanic is a great guy but when i first said hicas he went : "Harh??" =) i took a drive earlier today. the weirdest thing is that the hicas light did not come on once. did it just fix itself or should i still get it checked?

aye sir. any recomendations as to where i can get this fixed? apparently my mechanic has never heard of hicas in his life.

guys,my hicas indicator(yellow light?) is perpetually on when i'm driving. i thought it's only sposed to kick in at certain instances. is there something wrong? if so, does it require urgent fixing? also, this is out of curiousity. i saw a r33 gtst skyline displaying a p plate getting pulled over recently - are p platers barred from driving cars like the skyline?

do you have to fully depress your clutch to change gears, or will slightly depressing it do?

hi i'm a fairly new manual driver and i get clutch burn fairly often. any tips on how to avoid this? i try to release my clutch pretty quickly on gear shifts but when it comes to reversing and going upslope slowly during traffic on 1st gear, it tends to occur. much obliged am i!!

hey y'all guys.how much dya think a panel beating job will cost? i've got a dent behind my door with a few scratches on it. the dent's width is around the size of a paper plate and it isn't deep. just would like to know so i don't get ripped-off. much obliged!
