Thanks mate. The engine is about 8 years old so I can't remember it InToo much detail but here goes. Cv performance built in 2006 Stock stroke balanced crank All forged internals Mildly ported head with hks step 2 cams T04z with .70 exhaust hsg Ran pump fuel on 20 psi it's whole life but recently switched to e85 and 23psi which dropped it from 9.90 to 9.50 then backed up with 9.56. Running 9" and slicks with a protrans c4. Rotary Motorsport tunes it and Monro race cars did all the fab work. There's a 42 page build thread on it dating back to 2006 on the r31skyline forum. In short - do you need a retune if you went from a 3" open exhaust to a 4" open exhaust? I used to beleive that with a 3" outlet on the turbo like a T04z or GT35 that there was no point going 4". But im meeting more and more people at the track that say the 4" open exhaust lead to another 10 to 20 hp in the top end over the 3". If the car is tuned to a set boost level with eboost would it need retuning? Thoughts?

I run .8. Might get new bosch coils and plugs and gap them to .7. I only wanna run 25psi cos I beleive it will give me the power I need for 140mph+ Currently running 9.95@136 on 19psi.

With bosch coils what is the most boost with e85 before breakdown ? How do I effect the dwell? Can it be tuned? I'm using ems.

Hey everyone. A mate of mine has another coil question. He has a rb30 SOC and the spark is breaking down at 19psi.... The ignition is standard with a standard VL coil. Is there a better coil he can use so He can run 21psi??

I'm running bosch mec 717's ATM. They are about 9 years old though. What is dwell ?

Hey everyone. What is the most powerful bosch coil you can get? (Part number) Currently running 717's and on e85 I'm losing spark over 21 psi. Don't have the cash for big money ignition at the moment just want a cheap upgrade so I can bump the boost up a couple more psi.

Hey guys, I want to start my 2530 build next year and was wondering if any if you had good bad or indifferent experiences with engine builders in brissy. I want a very well built 2530 with all the oiling mods so it's a very reliable 500kw or so for drag use. A mate of mine went to Godzilla and said they told him the don't specialise in hybrids. I was thinking them but now not sure? Mercury? Spot on? Any suggestions.
