I've got one and I'd say everyone should have one. It's good for peace of mind when you leave it in the street. I garage mine every night though so its not that big a deal. I wouldn't leave mine in the street anywhere without an alarm though.

The BP on the highway in hobart have stopped selling LRP so bp ultimate may be at the pump within a couple months I've heard. Will be interesting to see what price it is. I can't wait to run ultimate so I can get a more aggressive tune. running 170rwkw on RON95 with a very conservative AF ratio.

yeah, no doubt you would have if the event had been on Saturday. I was a bit disappointed with the r33 gtr. Everytime I saw it he was boucing along on rev limiter! no wonder he blew of the intercooler piping twice!

congrats on the win t01-100. pity the about the weather though. I watched most of the morning session but left after lunch. I heard from andrew (aqua/green GTI Golf) that you came first with a much quicker time than the rest of the field so well done.

series 1 r33 gtst and get about 300-320 if I'm lucky. Can go through a tank in 250 though. This is using RON95 premium btw as its all we can get down here in tas. on 98RON i'm sure consumption would be slightly better.

better than a SAFCII? would i be better off selling my SAFCII and getting one of these? only problem is i don't think my mechanic would know how to use one ... I'm fine installing it myself but i don't have access to a dyno and if i did wouldn't know what i was doing!

are you syaing that a power fc would yield less than a plenum? which is the point of discussion here

you'd think that whoever the owner of the car was would be better off spending the $1500 on a powerfc and tune if they're still running the stock computer. anyway, dyno graphs? am i invisible?

that is definately very inspiring. can u outline the exact steps you took. ie. what grade sand paper you started with. sanded it all back by hand or used a sander for some? what cutting compound. how long it took you all up.

so how many skylines would you guess to be in the state? seeings as there is about 300,000 cars in tas, probably well under 100 skylines. seems pretty rare to me.

brought mine local. GMB, I still think skylines are bloody rare down here when you compare to other makes and models. I'm lucky to pass maybe 5 in a week and they are always the same ones. I hardly see any at all. You make it sound like they're everywhere. I think that skylines are still a pretty special car to have down here. Although after reading http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...53&page=1&pp=25 I could be tempted into getting a strawberry face sil80. yum!
