  1. had to be done... ur stealing my views!
  2. cant help you with the kit... but i got a stealth wing off them through a friend. it was pretty good - but like all copies it required abit of sanding back and filling and prepping before i could get it painted. that said i wouldn't get a kit from them (or anywhere else) for that matter without being able to have a look at the actual kit in person - unless it was a genuine item
  3. 10.5 sounds good, i'd be inclined to go to 11 if possible. i've read that a few of the 30DET guys using stock parts so i cant see why not. forged pistons wont be necessary, however lightweight pistons wud be good. yes it does depend on the condition of the block. brake upgrade would be advisable but a good set of pads and rotors may be sufficient depending on how u drive. eug
  4. cant say i've even seen a series 2 gts4 let alone a burgundy one. i thought all the gts4's were s1? unless someone can confirm it. eug
  5. thnx for busrting my bubble i thought it was new, did a search and not many ppl have mentioned it
  6. ok yes, i've done a search and a few people have posted know of this car and know how it performs... Runs a super charged honda type-r motor here's a video clicky mah linky
  7. GTFO Jay ceffies are lighter and 2L (get back to turbo section ) p.s - i can get 600 on the highway too, i'm talking around the city i know what you mean by driving it "off" boost, but you are incorporating too many variables and not enough controls to "compare" them. and yes cubes i know they make less torque/power if you keep it at low revs. when gearbox's are slightly different, injectors, compression, etc etc. - there's too much stuff to take into consideration ok THEORETICALLY ie. for the purposes of comparisson... we have two cars R33 GTS25 (RB25DE) and an R33 GTS25T (RB25DET) stock for stock... if we fill up the fuel tanks with say 10L 98RON each. and drive them both down the highway... both changing gears at 4000rpm (or even 5000rpm) now here's teh tricky bit - the GTS25T will pull away and assuming both cars maintain the same driving style - but who will consume 10L first? now... lets say rev to 3000rpm for each gear change. the GTS25 will pull away... as the GTS25T doesnt boost. will the GTST25T save enough fuel driving off boost?? which will have better economy in the end? see what i mean? i'm not saying your wrong and i'm right, but your claim as to having close to same fuel economy needs proof. hope this sparks more debate
  8. i do believe sam has bought a non turbo 32 at the moment gary.
  9. plz justify?? how can a motor making more power and more torque be getting the same fuel economy... i'd like to see a stock R33 GTST with an RB25DET get 550+km to a tank

    Finally

    hmmmmm
  11. its not as simple as taking the needle off, because u cant without pulling teh damn thing apart... the needles need to point in a certain direction so that they can slide through the holes without damaging them
  12. i have the el dials... the problem is that you are not sliding them in correctly, hence you are bending the dials and thus creating a "lump" for your needle to catch on... just make sure the dials are flat, and sitting flat and flush with the original face... need any help let me know.

    Finally

where's the 32 u promised that ud smoke me with last yr... nice. p.s - 25/30 and microtech is far from stock.... nor is 300+rwhp and 9psi liar
  14. *cough* rev limter launches *cough* not that they launch faster, more like they grip better so u can give it more stick - hence better launches....
  15. depends on your application if u want to rip skids/drift or around go rwd... if u want grip/track work and uber cool launches go 4wd... that said you can get a torque split controller and grid dancer to change it into rwd, etc... (no fuse trick with 33s) eug
  16. do you guys have a site or something? my gf told me about this, says you guys know her or something?
  17. yeah!!! ferry corsten too!
  18. eh... apparently he claims a 7sec pass...?!
  19. hmm... interesting..
  20. no you wont.. Lazy-Bastard on these forums has a S2 front bar on his S1, the headlights over hang on top of the bar but not by much.
  21. i thought this method was only for "fine" tuning and to take up the slack after you did the rear wheel business... hmm learn something new everyday
  22. needs modifying.. gtr guards are more pumped and the headlights are different too, that also means the reo bar is different again. even S1 and S2 ECR33's have different front bars.
  23. PM rmahnovetsky... he's a registered trader for SAU and does fantastic deals on intercooler kits and strutbraces. he also lives in brisbane =)
  24. i vote for random schoolgirls
  25. niiice!!! i cant answer your cam question, but VVT would be very good for NA applications. keep us updated...
