  3. You are an idiot... I have written up a thread with my findings with a pod filter, partition and intake in this part of the section accompanied with dyno charts before and after the CAI. There is also a stickied thread in the DIY section to CAI and partitions. You obviously havent searched yourself. kthnxbai
  4. i would say its a good idea to replace all four... while your are it. but braking is more front bias, so you MIGHT be able to get away with it hop onto DBA and check the pdf they have for NISSAN, find out the standard width it should be for your 33 and see how much you have left for both front and rear rotors. This should give you some indication of how much meat is left on the babies. Eug
  5. yeah mate - i've written up a thread about the differences it made (with a dyno print out of before and after)... i'll pm u abt the wing
  6. rofl! u'll need a timing light.. otherwise do what john does (NA_R33) and advance it till it pings and back it off a few degrees. p.s - not advised
  7. car off the road... take pics... is been a while
  8. happy early birthday Erin... have a safe trip... Eug
  9. omg ur gunna be like... old dude! almost twice my age!!! hahaha
  10. r32 are ribbed.. and i believe the r33 are slightly bigger (hence bigger pads and rotors)
  11. a mate of mine got one of these... said that you'd notice most of the difference on the track where you will be braking alot harder etc etc.
  12. i read that article too... it was on an series 1 silver sedan. they advanced timing fcd removed standard airbox lid added a cardboard snorkel type s has been quoted to have an extra 7kw (and has an exhaust flap on the stock system)
  13. either that or u can go a kustom karbon flush bootlid - arm + leg imo... i went for the stealth wing.

    Im a newbie

holla mate... welcome and good luck in finding a car. Eug
  16. I've had my clutch sussed out by Jim Berry thought it was a GTST - and it turned out to be more closely rated to a GTR one. ( It fits and it does the job so i'm not gunna question it) However Greg, I believe that there "officially" is no such thing as a Series 1.5 - just a series 1 with some series 2 options. ie. airbags, etc (cud be wrong) hope this helps
  17. maybe go to a place that can align skyline 4 wheel steer?
  18. $15000 isnt expensive considering u r the first owner in Oz... u do get what u pay for... i paid a little more than that with few low km's (just passed 80000 this morning) genuine km - got paper work to go with it. its in good nick and never a problem. clutches do tend to go and an R33 GTST stocko or equivalent is a sufficient upgrade.
  19. on the topic of gtr pads - i have a set of 32 GTR and have put them into my 32 GTST (type-m) calipers. They fit into the calipers, and align up with the rotor surface quite nicely. Anything else I should be looking out for? Has anyone tried this? p.s - they are not on the car yet... wanted to make sure. Thanks Eug
  20. looks like one of those emission charcoal filter things... (dont quote me on that) trace the hoses see if they lead to fuel filter or something...
  21. more words thrown... i notice a trend
  22. i think this is normal... kinda like the belt running in, it will "loosen" and adjust in time.. glenn's car used to do this - but its all good now
  23. toys R us?
