  1. ROFL @ Warwick have a good one dude!
  2. its an aluminum sheet, then on both sides stuck with a foam layered foil type thing (courtesy of 51jay) - can be picked up @ clark rubber or something similar. does the job, keeps the hot air out, and limited to the heat shield. engine bay || foil/foam || aluminum sheet || foam/foil || pod filter ^^^^^layers are pretty much like this ^^^^^
  3. same dude said he had a 33 gts4 in another thread...
  4. i have also seen gtst's without the rear wiper either.
  5. mine has a gtr one fitted (apparently) it has the NISSAN print and jim berry himself checked it out... i bought it, got it checked out - it fits it does the job... dont question it
  6. damn, and i was abt to go too...
  7. top stuff had fun.. good to watch the fourbies takin the corners at speed... also rofl @ mspaint on jason's tailights.
  8. yeh.. 38 thou.. does seem very low for a 1990... i bought mine with 69xxx - complete with log books and history and all the papers, paid a bit more but its all genuine. interior seems to have little wear and tear (easily upholstered) agree with r32skyline_89: ask him for all the papers/certificates and the history of the car, log books if available, etc i'm with Beau - the volks look pretty good... btw, strut brace is a metal (brace ) which usually goes over the top of the engine bay from strut to strut, stiffens the chassis, can get rear ones too.
  9. your calipers will look like this.... they are ribbed
  10. ur gunna confuse him johnny...
  11. 1/ www.nissansilvia.com is probably your best bet, considering the S13's commonly have CA18s. I've heard there are a few tosser's on the forum there, so just search and see if anyone has previously posted. 2/ Not sure if the gains will be worth the costs involved in getting a piggyback system, but if you have the money and want to do it, and want a bit of increase in power/performance then why not?
  12. wot r the width of the rims? 7"?
  13. sorry... the power is distributed funny in the R33... power goes to the front right wheel AND the rear left wheel... but with the atessa system the search function incorporated with the msn thingodoobie front wheels are favoured.. do a search!
  14. the R32 GTS puts out 200kw at the rear wheels with 500Nm of torque and wieghts 1 ton R33 GTS puts out 230kw at the front wheels with 590Nm of torque and weights 1200kg that is all...
  15. That's the Do-Luck Rear Cross Bar... They have one for the BCNR33, Don't know if it'll be compatible with ECR33
  16. did u import an R33? congrats. by lack in performance what are you comparing it to? a couple people here have CA18 and RB20E R33 GTS... Check if you have one of them. Pretty much what Greg said, and I'd do the fuel filter, radiator flush, spark plugs, gearbox oil, differential oil, brake bleed, new brake pads probably. These are relatively old cars, so they need a lil more attention - and the peace of mind knowing that every fluid/filter is changed is good. A dyno run would show if the engine is running ok too. Eug
  17. There is apparently a CA18 R33 as well...
  18. I have never heard of an R33 GTS4 Turbo, all the 33 GTS4's I've seen have been NA The only other single turbo GTS4 I've seen is an R32 GTS4. and before someone makes a smart arsed comment, GTR's with single turbo conversions dont count
  19. that's a pretty conservative guesstimate Greg - sounds about right. Don runs RB25DET injectors. The with the Rb30 block it will sit 30mm higher, so no front strut brace, but the bonnet will close. Personally I'm looking into the bigger cams and using the rb26 head - the throttle body doesnt sit like the 25s so an added bonus is the strut brace *should* be able to be kept. That said a 26 head is like 1500.... already.. I believe resale isnt really an option anymore for skylines, there's so many on the market now and all with extensive mods done to them.
  20. i with stock parts (rb30e and rb25de) considering you own a gts25 it wud be eaily done under $1000. I've seen Don's car on TV and it looks pretty good, his 14.7 wud surely give some stock gtsts a scare... Most of us are under 25, and it certainly would be good on the insurance for an NA Motor to pull some nice power, torque and 1/4 mile times. In the end I think I'd save on insurance for those 5-6 years it wud take for me to own a turbo motor.... Still doing a bit of research and provided most of the work is done yourself a full worked NA motor wud be around 4-5grand (pistons, head, ecu and tuning being one of the most expensive bits)
  21. very nice mate. - rear clears are siik - boot install is siik - gts badge is a good touch - not a fan of metal checkered floor plates. but good work!
  22. it is meant to be a "suprise" of sorts... Don usually gives out the details on the spot and in person... Its a Don thing... and what Gordo said
