  1. yup, alot of headunits on the market now have AUXILARY input... just plug the audio from PS2 into the headunit, and the video cable into the monitor/tv. if u have the old PS2 the best way is to mount it in the footwell of the passenger seat, or you can do a custom install into the dash infront of the passenger - alternatively you can buy the new PS2 which apparently fits perfectly into the glovebox.
  2. anyone?
  3. can anyone complete nurburgring in the SLR.....??? its a biitch waiting for ur turn..
  4. the driver window thing is normal... there are two settings for the driver window.... full and driver preferred height. this is to allow the driver to keep their hands free - without having to wait for the window to slide all the way down.
  5. yup... thanks for that gordon. much appreciated.
  6. appreciate the answer gordon, but what do u mean exactly by the center part coming out futhur? do u mean the hub?? cos the way i see it is wudnt the rotor just sit where the studs of where the original one was?
  7. i own a 33 gts (NA), and have planned a brake upgrade to: - pair of dba standard replacement slotted rotors for a 32 gtst (drilled for 4 stud) - pair of 32 gtst 4 pot calipers for the front. now i want a set of dba4000 for the front, and was wondering if the rotors (the ones i were originally going to put on the front) can be rear rotors or would they be too big? (ie. fitment with 32 gtst or 33 gtst twin pot calipers) i am not keen for any serious customization, except for redrilling stud pattern of course, and would pretty much want a in and out type job. can anyone shed some light on wether front rotors can be used as rears? cheers eugene
  8. as the title says, i am after a set of pins and plates to hold the pads in for a set of front calipers for a 32gtst. i am located in brisbane, qld. please pm me, or email me at [email protected] thnx eugene

  19. yup. and no matter how much i imagine how much better it could look it will stay like that for a while unless i can find a conservative kit. the point i was kinda getting at was that people complain about the sterotype, boy ricer, racer image - police constantly hitting imports, etc. like you said give it time before i get done for the stuff i have. but in the mean time youngish asian dude in a skyline does not get pulled over for stock car 1 + 1 = no defect
  20. hahahaha ben - it is your car!!! can see teh banner sticker on the windsheild
  21. honestly guys - i have no idea what you do or how you drive... but, i have never ever been pulled over for any of these so called "random checks" i have been rbt'd but that is a simple everyone gets breathalized kinda thing. my car is completely stock exteriorwise except for rims and even then i wouldnt consider my rims to be attention seeking - not chrome, not spinners, not 19" 20" or any other boganish type rims. i have a stock exhaust which is reasonably quiet. and i like it that way - in my whole 10months of owning the car... never ever pulled over! which leads me to this - loud exhaust, chrome bling rims, extreme bodykits, stickers, rice, overly big wings is what it is (considering you are just cruising around at speed limit) that attracts their attention. i wud like to mod the nuts off this thing - but with 4 points for 3 yrs... do the maths... nuff said eug
  22. i have heard that these engines (25det) are capable of producing around 200kw stock. they have stronger internals and little extra bits here and there - though i am not sure about what extra bits exactly. obviously these engines have a far greater potential than the standard rb25de and rb25det. maybe someone can clarify this alot more than me. i am not sure if the extra complexity is worth it - all depends on how much dosh you are willing to fork out.
  23. i know you said maybe.... but why a hub conversion to 5 studs?
  24. brett, obviously you are talking from experience and as you say finding a front cut for a 34 are almost impossible to find - hence why u took the engine from a stagea, which i guess is ok if u are fine driving an auto. but as alot of drivers out there prefer a manual transmission. pending on the cost of doing a conversion (i imagine a fair bit) the 34 option seems to be a little more friendly. that said - can the 34 gearbox be transplanted with a stagea engine?
