Rocker cover dusnt have any affect on oil pressures... (what exactly are u talking about??) oil pressue will fluctuate when u apply the throttle accordingly (there is a thread with the correct oil pressures when idle, and throttle, etc - try a search) Fuel economy varies as alot of force induced cars have either been boosted or have some form of extensive modification - I am not sure about the stock standard economy you will have to try a search, or post in the forced induction section. As for an RB25DE (non turbo) I have managed a bit over 1/4 tank for about 200km that is about 20~25L driving pretty hard.

if that's the case may as well get an RB25DET... Such a waste of money to get an extra overhead cam, may as well get the turbo item

There are heaps of debates over the filters (pod or panel) and how good they actually are for your car. chicane is right - partition it off otherwise you will be sucking in ALOT of hot air coming off the engine. The debate is; that some filters have very good air flow but poor filtration, thus getting dust and particles into your motor, where as other filters have poor air flow but are doing what they are meant to be doing and that is to FILTER particles and crap. It will depend on where you live, ie. dusty area, or nice clean area. Best you can do is keep it oiled, and build a nice solid partition to keep heat and unwanted crap out. You can buy one for about 150ish or build it yourself, I just recently built one myself and you can stick on hand in the engine bay area, and other in the pod partition area and really notice a difference in temperature after a spirited drive. what brake pads are you guys using? I heard bendix pads squeek like hell, but stop like a cop passing a donut shop. Try changing pads? I wud think that its pretty obvious that its when the pads are pressed onto the rotors, and since you havent changed the rotors it wud be the pads.

Has anyone had any experience with these tyres? They are relatively new, and are the first of the Drive range from Yokohama. I loved the 539s and, but since Yokohama are phasing them out, these C.Drive's are apparently the replacement.

get an RB!!! similar concepts apply to all cars - In my opinion skylines in particularly from 32 onwards, breathe alot better. I do not know about the Daewoo but in my camry, the air filter is placed behind the battery in the engine bay, and the snorkel doesnt even get any fresh cool air from the front. But with the funny angles and the positioning of the airbox, it is simply impossible to install a pod filter. The best you can do is probably change the panel airfilter and exhaust. There isnt too much modification wise that you can do without spending mega bucks to get small power gains. Try to make it breathe alot better, or like Pva_Glue says - just strip the car. As to why your on an skylines forum - dunno - they may have a Daewoo forum with others who may be able to help you better. But the concept is still quite relative. or you can try to use nitrous.

That said, you can either stroke it, change cams, extractors, shot of nos, advance timing, strip out the interior of your car, engine conversion (check V8 thread). There's no real point in doing too much to the NA engines, and keeping it NA - the price you pay for measly power gains is simply not worth it, but if you still insist then the above are a few ideas.

umm... I dont think central locking is associated with any sort of chip. I "think" chips are only used for immobilizers. I have made a spare for my 1994 R33 and it starts the engine fine, central locking mechanism is just that - i honestly dont think think there is a chip involved.

too much! you will also need bigger brakes, drivetrain, the stuff you mentioned above and more. The pricing will vary quite considerably - as to whether or not you can do some of the work yourself, know a good mate who can, or get someone professional to do it, also how cheaply you can source the parts for. Its a pretty big project, and I can see alot of headaches comin your way. But, quite a few people have done it - and there is one guy in queensland who has an R32 gtst with an RB26DETT in it. dunno about sydney - but up here in QLD the limit is 10cm to the lowest point of the car... best you check it out what your rules and regulations are... to lower it, just get low springs.... or you can be a cheap ass bouncy car and just cut the springs... (which I higly recommend :D:D:D:D)

try replacing the missing bulb, as when my bulb blew on one of my front indicators the timing of my indicators screwed up - replacing the blown bulb fixed it.
