get the hardware to back up the software to see the major gains. like nathan said the best results are from doing power mods and then using the SAFC to tweak the optimal settings of the new setup

well if your in contact with partsco then what am i doing here?? at this stage there isn't enough numbers to go ahead as what i was initially led to believe. truth of the matter is that this has occurred time and time again over the years and quite frankly it ruins it for everyone - as that's how group buys work. people who have PM'd me so far: hr32gts na_beast ShanO' Peza if we do not get another 6 people then it can not possibly go ahead, if Mick does decide to purchase a once off unit then we need another 7. although if numbers do not pull through, he may need to just do that to get his headers. remember you guys asked me to coordinate this group buy, i don't mind helping out fellow forum members - but those who said they were interested but haven't PM'd me are letting the rest of you down.

yeah mate, once numbers are confirmed we'll get a final revision on costs depending on the exchange rate.

watch your language RxGTR (Riki) first and final verbal warning, next foot out of line and you get a warn increase.

Just A Teaser Of Whats Coming Soon For Dori34
Eug replied to dori34's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
nice stuff mate! -
g'day guys... sorry about the delayed response... i've got a reply back from partsco. all prices are subject to current exchange rate we need 10 confirmed orders to get any sort of discount from Coby. D12 extractors ~AUD$180-190 F124 gasket ~AUD$10-15 HP coating ~AUD$250-260 Shipping (track and trace) to Australia ~AUD$110-120 at this stage, i need 10 PM's with a definite yes to go ahead. once numbers are set i'll require a deposit to lock the buyers in, in previous buys i've not done this - however i've been caught out with people pulling out at the last minute. this deposit is refundable, only on the condition that we do not make the numbers required for the group buy to proceed. cheers eug

check the sticky at the top of the forum... plenty of info there.

Thread has been cleaned up. I want constructive feedback! Cara does not have to justify her decisions to anyone, people can advise or show a different perspective or idea - but be polite about it. Next person to step out of line will get a warning!!

For Sale: Bronze Nismo Lmgt4 17x8.5 4x114.3

yeah it was difficult to see it go, but onto different things. it was starting to sit around the garage and i didn't have as much time to be doing the racing i wanted. the new owner is very happy and has received a lot of good comments on it, so it's reassuring to know i did something right. the sparco rims were multi stud (gone with the new owner). he didn't want the nismos so they are up for grabs. probably one of the best rims you can get for an NA skyline or S13/180SX. might have to offer it to the silvias if no one wants it here. -
i would recommend doing both front and rear. fronts go for a thick 24mm one (adjustable or fixed doesnt matter), usually the largest fixed one you can get. rears go for something around the same size maybe 22mm but definitely an adjustable for the rear. the swaybar settings will be dependent on your coilover setup. normally you will be experiencing some understeer or oversteer. harden up the rear swaybars to induce oversteer soften up the rear swaybars to induce understeer that's pretty much it in a nutshell, the setup is of course a little more dynamic than that and highly dependent on tyre grip!! swaybars will ultimately reduce body roll when doing high speed turns. the weight is distributed to the inside wheels and you therefore put more tyre grip on the road. hope that helps

Thought I would offer it to you guys first. Since the new owner of the car didn't want the rims they are up for sale. They are not in perfect condition and have light rashes on them, however they are structurally sound and are an amazingly light rim at approximately 4.5kg each. Has original stickers on, but could do with a fresh set. I will double check on the offsets however from memory they are +35, they cleared R32 GTSt calipers and brakes without any dramas and sit flush with R33 guards. There are only a handful of these floating around and in 5 years I've only seen 3 sets come up for sale. I noticed an improvement in acceleration and getting off the line due to the reduction in weight on the drivetrain. Cost $2000, cost me well over that to bring them in. Can supply some average tyres I have lying around or some Federal 595s for another $500 (will confirm on that pricing). Prefer local however will ship at buyer's expense. Cheers Eug Pics to come!

g'day james, this topic has been covered quite extensively throughout the forums. it was proven that you can get away with a 3" system without too much loss of volumetric efficiency on an R34 RB25DE NEO however on an R33 a 2.5" system is considered ideal. in your case if you are looking for an increase in peak power go 3" and if you're looking for response along with a mild increase 2.5". have a search throughout the forums and you'll find loads of info supporting those.

hey alex, the idea is all good and all however people would usually do the work themselves... we'll see how it goes for a while otherwise i'll close the thread.
