  1. GTR seats have arrived and bolted them in. very very impressed.
  2. in my final year of uni so i've only had fiddle with it - but not on track just yet. i've spoken to sydneykid and managed to work out a few formulas to calculate the necessary alignments. the thing is there's nothing to compare it to - cant even go in to get a laser alignment to confirm the settings. so far so good, from the minimal amount of play i've had i have no doubts that i've got the exact settings it tells me i have.
  3. omg jor!!!!!!! how's the bub??? we'll have to come visit soon
  4. just out of interest what kinda prices have you received from them? i will send an email through to see if i can knock a few bucks off for you provided a definite list is drawn up. i don't want to be promising them 10 people and only having 2 of you pull through with the money.
  5. gaylord
  6. BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU BASTARD! you made me snort out my drink! with that said, if no one has GTS4 for Mario please refrain from posting any further.
  7. happy birthday arse raider... hahahahaha...
  8. seats should arrive sometime this week or next. the rims wont be on until i can afford some semi slicks!
  9. you probably weren't trying hard enough. too many people rely on outright power now-a-days.
  10. we don't really need a new thread for each individual thing. i'll merge the threads and change the title of the original thread. cheers
  11. i don't do things by halves see below exactly... and as far as i'm aware they do not need to be engineered (can someone shed some light on this? QLD) bolt straight in, reclinable and no dramas. trust me money is tight. after the LMGT4s and these seats there won't be anymore spending for a while. that said the money put together for the two items are enough for a turbo conversion or more power. however until i can make full use of the power i have now there really isn't much need. semi slicks are next on the cards
  12. good luck with it guys. sorry i won't be able to help - not till june/july anyway.
  13. as the carbon deposits and lines the exhaust you will find that it tends to smooth out the insides and quietens down.
  14. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ma...ai-t213473.html it's been covered before mate. some simple answers to questions will help others narrow it down to. have you serviced it recently? or is it due for one? if you haven't then maybe that should be the first thing to do before asking around what the diagnosis is. you'd be surprised how often a fresh change of oil, filters, sparks will solve many problems.
  15. bah that Chris guy is overrated... nice work Chris - your kind are far and few between
  16. this tells me that you are lazy. do not do this again please. correct. most normally, people only do fuel upgrades if they are running out of fuel. if your engine is getting ample then upgrading won't do anything.
  17. what kind of noise is it?? the components in an exhaust (cat & muffler) do degrade after a while, and especially so if you've been running rich if you are able to, unbolt the cat and have a look for yourself
  18. an exhaust shop will be able to give you a proper diagnosis. tap the cat to see if bits are rattling.
  19. why bring up another thread on rims?
  20. white = brake dust bronze or black...
  21. give the 1/4 a run and find out... a little piece of paper will tell you 'your' skills not the car's potential. which in my opinion is better. having a car which can do 300km is different to actually doing 300km, and so forth.
  22. being new you're obviously going to ask a lot of questions. much of the stuff has been covered before... give the forum a search instead of posting a new thread for each question. cheers eug
