  1. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to All. Remember double demerit points, so be on your best behaviour. Drive safe -Eug
  2. i would buy the RB26 intake & timing cover from the yahoo japan auctions. exhaust manifold/extractors would need to be a custom job; buy some coby extractors and get the flange modified to fit

    extractors were dispatched yesterday (thursday)
  4. very wierd. which track is this on? in my personal experience the braking potential of the HP+ is very very progressive. this is probably a little more suited to my driving style where braking isn't sudden, but more so smooth. never heard of mintex before. what brake fluid and rotors are you using?
  5. JASMA isn't a brand, it stands for Japanese Automotive Sports Muffler Association. It's basically a group which approves exhaust components to a standard. my raspy sound comes on around 4000, but only under full throttle. mufflers have been found to work, depends on which/brand/etc. slipping clutch? revs would 'free rev' in that case though. could also be electronic related, injectors, sparkies, coil packs, etc. trouble shoot it and eliminate it one by one.
  6. unfortunately i don't have any extra special access to admins. best way would be to use the '! REPORT' button relevant to the for sale thread. to be honest the admins cant really do anything extra in regards to getting some leverage. in a buy/sell case, always ask for as many pictures as possible - and do the research before hand. a seller who won't provide photos and contact details (mobile/email/etc) is one not worth buying from. as always, CAVEAT EMPTOR.
  7. that sounds correct Rach. r32s do have poor grounding issues, most owners end up wiring the fuel pump directly to the battery. r33s normally hold a constant voltage as standard.
  8. what negatives have you found about the hawks Rach? are you getting brake fade? i've found coupled with slotted rotors, they pull me up even after 5 hot laps from over 180km without dramas.
  9. 1. it would shield a small amount of heat 2. without an intake no, it'll just end up trapping the hot air inside. (think sauna) 3. you could fabricate one out of steel and line it with reflective foam/insulation for half the price.
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/m28667.html Try PMing them. The above is a link to their profile.
  11. sounds like a massive headache dude...
  12. http://www.timeattack.com.au/ TimeAttack i and a few of the other QLD guys run with Paul.
  13. the other two would be, the oil return and coolant return
  14. i'd recommend RDA rotors, DBAs have been known to crack. however for street use, go with whichever is cheapest
  15. i agree... suss out if the bungs are available before you start drilling. they should be there... i cant see why they'd produce two different blocks
  16. $40 for the front pair? jesus!! my fronts cost ~$250
  17. to be honest dude, this should be in the suspension section. the different brands/types of pads aren't going to vary from gts to gtst, and you'll get a wider response. that aside, whats your intended application? if you're not racing or doing some hard braking then there's no point in getting race pads. they are rated to higher temperatures and all you're doing is not using them in the correct temp range. if it's just street, then get some decent bendix, ferodos or rb74s for the record i use hawk performance hp+ pads. one of the dustiest i've ever used, squeals like a bitch when cold - but never fails to pull me up even from over 170km/hr at QR. wouldn't recommend it for the street.

they have your addresses no, unfortunately i didnt get any PMs but thanks for the kudos! we didn't expect exchange rates to change so dramatically - i guess i should have factored that in, but i wasn't in it to make a 'profit' as such. what was quoted to me in NZD was converted directly to the nearest AUD. Ribby, Mic's are shiney because of the HPC - they paint over it in a nice silver paint. Coby normally do theirs orange, however if we're lucky I've requested everyone get a stealth black.
  22. yeah, i think you're looking for something like "MEC - XXX XXX" not "A18 - XXX XXX"
  23. i will take it if the sale falls through. if not, where did you get it from/

no promises guys, it's entirely dependent on shipping - so if you receive it prior, then consider it a bonus.
