  1. Al raises some good points. It really depends on how far you've gone with the current car and where you see yourself with the car in a few years time. not exactly, it's still a turbo R33. However I will say that, buying any sort of R32-R33 (I assume no one is talking about an R34 GTT, because it simply wouldn't work out cost wise) you'll be buying a car with very close to or more than 100,000km. The turbochargers are pretty much on their last legs and requiring a rebuild - answer; highflow. Then ECU, then intercooler, hey then it somehow becomes a full blown rebuild going for 500HP. Sit down, do the maths... see which one fits your budget - go from there.
  2. check with your local authorities, it varies from state to state. some states are only allowed one induction mod (i.e. filter OR intercooler) some require the pod only to be braced some require enclosed do the research some states don't even care, it's what the booking officer decides.
  3. they certainly look impressive. what kinda price tag are we talking

pm sent whyte. final day is december 10, i will transfer the cash and make the order shortly after
  5. biased much?
  6. sorry, i'm going to partly disagree here. TUNE! exactly... by the time you do all the maths in selling the gts and buying the gtst, then bringing it back up to the same level of mods - you're still at square 1 with a motor with an unknown history and a potential rebuild anyway.

thanks for joining us kane. all the PMs were sent out early this morning (with kane's being sent out just now). i've set the end date by dec 10, this is just to lock in everyone prior to the christmas spending spree cris i know you've got a build on your hands - so if any leeway is required i'm sure we can arrange something. as soon as everyone can confirm their orders and update their details and i'll have this underway - just to let you all know, i'm trying to get this GB timed correctly. there's no way we can sneak in before the christmas postal nightmare, but i'll want to sneak in just after it to avoid any mishaps or whatnot like we experienced in prior years. i'll try to keep it as textbook as possible and will keep everyone in the loop. first post updated, any errors please let me know. cheers guys eug
  9. i'm going to agree with skit_r31 here. if you have half a mind - turbo'ing the current motor will be cheaper. and plus, you would have done other mods to the car as well... it'd probably work out more expensive to sell the car with your coilovers, bodykit, stereo (all of which you'd lose money on) - only to buy them again for your new car.
  10. full of bright ideas dude! put the biggest farken nozzle you got. shame that it's being such a mish... was so promising!!! any idea what the death rattle is? something loose in the cylinder?
  11. my initial thoughts too. spend more time getting the correct alignment setup (toe, camber, height & castor). more is not always better. i'm sure there's a combination in your current settings that will make you happy.
  12. his situation hasn't changed...

sorry guys, been busy the past few days. at this stage, no confirmation from coby about the colours - orange it will have to be. what outlet sizes were you guys after? i will send out PMs with my account details by Friday the latest. correct. i've noticed their RRP has gone up as well, the difference between old RRP-GB is similar to new RRP-GB. the costs are originally reflected by Coby.

group buy starts now and will run for appproximately 1 month (ending 10th december) once we have sufficient numbers, i may end the group buy prematurely and place the order supplier partsco www.partsco.com the deal if we can get at least four (4) buyers we will be eligible for: d12 extractors suitable for RB20DE and RB25DE AUD$205ea gaskets AUD$10ea international air freight (3-10 days*) AUD$70ea international economy (10-25 days*) AUD$60ea * business days, from the date that the supplier sends them. ** this does not include the time required to fabricate and the time required for deliveries between the necessary persons. option of 2.25" or 2.50" outlet awaiting confirmation of colours (at this stage only Coby orange). no hp coating will be offered this time around due to costs. payment are to be deposited into my account - i will send out the PMs with the necessary details. once everyone is in i will make the transfer to the supplier. frieght depending on the freight options you choose it should roughly take about 2 months from the date i send the cash over. keep in mind they are bulky items and that this is an international exchange and things do take time. i am hoping to sneak in just AFTER the X-mas rush, and they will be sent directly from the supplier to your door in the new year. rest assured your parts will get to you, this is the third group buy i have run with them. any questions contact me via PM or in this thread. buyers 1. blk_sz: 1x d12 extractor, 1x gasket, international air, 2.50" outlet = aud$285 [PAID] 2. inthisglass: 1x d12 extractor, 1x gasket, international air, 2.50" outlet = aud$285 [PAID] 3. 21. ok, that's 4... will everyone be ready with the group buy running till early-mid decemeber. (that way we dont have people pulling out afterwards saying they are poor from christmas?) we can place the order and fingers crossed, timing it correctly we should just sneak in after the christmas rush.
  22. sounds too complicated to make it fit. they make tomei fuel pumps which bolt straight in.
  23. correct, i've got SK's bushes with the eccentric centres. i'm not sure how i'll go about it, i'll figure it out as i get the kit but from what i understand you bolt the alignment gauge onto the wheel studs - so you don't actually need the wheel on to measure the angles. ideally you'd want them on though. jack the car up, adjust, measure? repeat?
