  1. its a little unit which modifies the electrical signals into the standard ECU, it basically tricks the ECU.
  2. no need to, but it is advised. although with anything gtst related, i'd be inspecting it as most of the time the NA parts are in far better condition.
  3. thanks for the comments and free bump. it certainly is a good package for someone new to performance cars and cars in general to start out. remember the package can be customised to suit budget!
  4. thanks for the comments. pat, spoke with you on the phone earlier. price is flexible dependent on parts/mods wanted. i will dig out some old pictures of the other rims and have them emailed to you asap, otherwise i'll change the rims over on the weekend so you can get an idea. cheers eug
  5. ok low revs, slightly rattly once you get into it. no one wants a well sorted NA track package? it would be a shame to part it out, as i'd like to see it continue to evolve. there is also a spotters fee for whoever helps sell it.
  6. would be a shame to part it out, no p-platers interested in a well performing package?
  7. which state are you from david? check the state specific forums for membership details
  8. i did the rear lights and center garnish myself. easy DIY reason is that i've gone back to uni and can't enjoy it as much as i'd like and it's a little depressing. i find myself driving my other car more often and i'm looking into property. in a nutshell it's a grown up mature and very boring decision yes i would be willing to ship them to you if a buyer doesn't want the type-m stuff. thanks Shane, glad I didn't disappoint just to let you all know, there is also a spotters fee up for grabs for whoever can help me sell.
  9. why not buy it now me personally, i'd like to see the car go in the condition it's in. it's a very good package for someone who's just got their license, keen for a skyline and with big ideas in the future.
  10. Time has come to sell. Car: 1994 Black R33 GTS25 Type-S Manual 5 speed History: In 2004 by Special Vehicle Imports (QLD) with 50,000km. In the time I've owned it I have traveled approximately 10,000km per year. It has just clicked over 100,000 km and has had the timing belt and water pump replaced. It is serviced by Chapman and Chapmans every 10,000 km and I change the oil, oil filter and inspect the spark plugs myself every 5,000 km in between. Wheel/Suspension/Brakes: Nismo LMGT4 forged monoblock rims 17x8.5 with Federal 595RS tyres (95% tread) Whiteline springs with modified circlip height adjustable Bilstein shocks (Sydneykid spec) Whiteline fixed front and adjustable rear swaybars Whiteline adjustable front and rear camber bushes Whiteline adjustable front castor bushes Whiteline pineapples Nismo front strut brace with master cylinder stopper R33 GTR rear strut brace Locked hicas R32 DBA slotted rotors and calipers (rebuilt) front with Hawk ultimate brake pads R32 stock rotors and calipers rear (rebuilt) with Hawk ultimate brake pads ADR approved front and rear braided brake lines with Motul RBF600 fluid Drivetrain: R33 GTR clutch Power: Coby extractors with HPC coating, 2.5" high flow metal cat and a standard R33 GTR exhaust Apexi SAFC-II (Black version) tuned by Matt Spry Cosmetics: R34 GTR bucket seats Stealth rear wing Nismo tinted side indicators Tinted windows Extras: CD Headunit Pioneer 6.5" front speakers and Pioneer 6x9" rear speakers in a custom MDF shelf $1000 aftermarket alarm system (installed by Chris Rogers, will disclose if buyer is serious) That's most of what I can remember at this stage, they are the main mods and probably a few more little ones that I have forgotten. As you can see it's quite a reasonably modded R33 GTS and is perfect for someone (especially P-Platers) who are keen on getting serious with the car in the future. I also have a set of Sparco Racing rims 17x8 if interested for a reduced cost. It currently has the Type-M front bar, however the stock one can be put back on. Also have Type-M side skirts and rear pods (white) which can be included if required. Price wise, I will let it go for $14-15,000 right now. However I am aware of the current market and am flexible on pricing. I have retained a majority of the car's standard parts and will let it go for significantly lower price with a stock setup without all the good bits (ball park $9000). Not separating for parts at this stage, but will separate to sell the car. Contact: 0403112979 or PM (Eugene)
  11. ah no worries. my mistake, eager to see the block built up and put to good use

  14. ahhh boo mate, thought you were going to do something cool with it. shane it was the one i had lying around - gave it to josh for free.
  15. correct mate. i'm parting it out to suit the selling cost. looking to get into property and have a 6 litre ute i'd like to get my hands on!
  16. actually i've looked into it, the LS1 is the best bang for buck motor you can put in to run reliably and make so much more power.
  17. everyone has pretty much summed it up, a lot of cash, research, cubes and revs!
  18. post moved, thread closed. thanks for the tip MT_XTC
  19. you agreed to be at my mate's place prior to 12:00, i get a text from you saying that you slept in at 15:00. i had sold the gauges to Josh (Turbo 33) whom was polite enough to send me a text that he was on his way, he had come early to buy the gauges and i could have easily gone done other things had i known you weren't going to show. how is the fact that you failing to show, return my call and replying to my text is supposed to be an indication that you still wanted the item? get real mate, i was at his place clearing out my items and had the pump waiting for you right till 13:00, you make it out that i am the rude one by selling it out under you and i do apologise for doing so, but you are equally at fault for not notifying me that you were not coming and if an alternative arrangement could be made. you have to come to understand that i had other buyers who were on hold because i told them you were coming to get it. if our deal fell through (which was my choice to make in this case) then they would be next in line. regardless this no longer concerns you, your actions still show that you have not matured one bit.
  20. no you missed our arranged meet time at my mate's place. i don't live in the area anymore and took the morning off and waited 4 hours only for you to stand me up. i called you and sent you a text without a reply until 3 hours later. if you decide to wake up with a hangover and not show up at the arranged time and place, then that is your problem. you are right, at no time did you say that you weren't going to buy it - however a no show on your part without notification is clearly rude and i simply assumed that you were no longer interested. it's my fuel pump and i'll decide whom i sell it to, you wasting my morning is enough for me not to sell it to you.
  21. IanB no show - sold to someone else
  22. well put N-DAWG. have a look around nafan, check out some of the links that N-DAWG put up and give yourself a crash course in exhausts. there was an extensive thread done not so long ago so have a look in there and only after you have read that and still have questions - go post up. cheers
  23. Ian, Not 100% on the 32 GTR, but here is a DIY I found for a R32 GTST. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...mp;hl=bosch+040 Shouldn't be too much of a difference between the two models I believe. I used some pipe clamps and bit of rubber hosing without too many dramas, took me about an hour all up. You can use the current bracket in your car.
