    would have liked a dry track, very fun though that's it for track days from me for a while. will be doing a september motorkhana day, and possibly squeeze in the timeattack in october, then it's off for cams licensing and to try out a few other events.

  8. yup that's true... but there have been reported findings of varying cylinder head sizes. i've read/heard of accounts where it's been about +/- 5cc. best to check regardless, especially in an NA engine.

  22. for the others, methanol (100%) is often used in anti-freeze due to its cooling nature, (low freezing point at -80ºC ish) like you said it is more flammable with a lower flash point: methanol flash point is around 10-11ºC and petrol, depending on its mixture would be around the 40-50ºC mark i would guess? just a bit of background in case anyone was wondering why he's doing what he's doing.

S3/S4 would be my pick to modify it. would have liked the S3 in a coupe model though. and will agree again on the additional cash (which you'd end up spending in mods) to buy an RS4. with an RS4, i'd leave it dead stock - there's nothing i'd possibly want to do to ruin a perfectly good car. RS6 is the dream... and if/when they have the RS5; something a little more achievable!

  25. at minimal an S model (i was kind of typing and thinking in reference to the thread). S3 hmm maybe... S4 would be my likely entry model. the S5 however looks very impressive on the sheets, and i have no doubt of it performing accordingly. whoever guessed $120K was close
