  1. they were a pain to deal with... i did most of our (group buy) dealings via international phone. email correspondence was days apart. especially helpful when you're about to fork over thousands of AUD$ on more than one occasion; hassling them to get them fabricated, then hp coated and what not - that required slight pressure and me calling to check on progress. i would try coby directly see what they can arrange for you.
  2. i have an RB30 block sitting here just waiting for it to be done... i just cant bring myself to justify the money for it.
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...67&hl=ecr33 very easy and very legal.
  4. happy belated one dude!
  5. even a cairns cruise gets more views than this... bunch of cruisers
  6. now also an SAu sponser. subframe alignment bush kit -> try whiteline (sydneykid's group buy sells em)
  7. a car is only as reliable as it's tune or how you drive it. keep us posted. it should be pretty much bolt out, bolt in. the loom + sensors should all be the same (if not very similar). plug in an ecu, boost gauge, and there you go. might want to consider a brake upgrade while your at it.
  8. some utes/trailers normally have bike reflector type things attached on i guess we could cleverly work around that.
  9. nice job sam... so now what are the legalities of this... i mean it's a fairly obvious mod. as long as the they light up red its ok?

  11. so why does it have the r33 GT badge? not to mention that you have turbo brakes + 5 stud, so it's a gtst - so the blue badge isn't standard anyway. nice work... transplant seems the way to go nowadays with RB25DETs going for around ~2K, spend another ~2k to freshen the engine up, another ~1k for new turbo... and you've got a solid 200rwkw'ish.
  12. very nice... so no need to pay $220 eh. might be an idea to put in a flat clear panel where the red plastic used to be. now to red bulbs, any ideas? - lightly paint the bulbs red - a red plastic between the bulb and the tailights
  13. why is your badge so high? and where are your compliance side indicators?
  14. raikkonen around 0.5 seconds faster than anyone... noice
  15. homer does! uses a gun to open beer too! anyone with pics or have made progress with it?
  16. see you then paul!
  17. you can include the VCT in your tune. the way it's done is to tune it with the VCT activated and you get a power graph/tune/whatever. then you tune it with the VCT de-activated and you get another power graph/tune/etc. then you put both graphs on top of one another, where the two lines cross is the best place to have it activated.
  18. twin piston sliding on the fronts single piston sliding on the rear
  19. the silver one is a 240Z (well that's what the filename has written)
  20. I am after the mirror glass itself - and willing to buy the backing plate as well. My outer case is fine, but for the right price maybe... The mirror is cracked and i just want to replace that. PM me is the best option.
  21. oh yes oh yes!!!! a high comp 26/30 NA. i'd want to try and bump the 11:1 up a little more if possible (may as well ) and be sure to have trumpets
  22. i'll have em both thanks. nice find so which is the 240 and which is the 260? i dont know whats stock and what's not to tell them apart
  23. ive always found with stuff like this, it's better to remove the trim/shelf/etc yourself then get them to come over or drive to them, so possibly start to learn to fiddle with little things to get an idea of how your car fits together and how things work. there's using professionals; but keep in mind they are on a time schedule and money/next job take precedence over quality and caring about what happens with your car (to a degree). then there's doing it yourself; which again takes time, but i have the attitude that no one can do the job to my satisfaction except me.
