  1. i think the neo controls vtec not vct. two different systems...
  2. oh yeah well i guess we all pretty much agree on that then. but it's not a "problem" as such, just a characteristic...
  3. what's the source of the problem? i still stand by the inline 6 twin cam characteristic; cam related or something.
  4. hahaha but what is a type-s? non-type-s: - base model - lsd was an option - airbag was an option - 140kw fly - steering wheel? - etc, small nitty gritty bits type-s: - lsd was standard - 7kw more power - airbag was an option - etc, same as above so basically a type-s comes with a few things as standard, but from what i've observed skylines could have been optioned with so many things. drink coolers, towel holders, tool kits, air purifiers, driver airbag, passenger airbag, skyline illuminated rear light, etc. etc. it's like they had a clipboard with a list of what you wanted and you'd walk into nissan and tick the stuff you wanted.
  5. if the head is complete with plenum, rail, cams, cam gears, etc. i'll take it. check my trader rating, no tyre kicking here. pictures wouldnt hurt either
  6. the blue and white badges belong on the NON-type S R33 GTS25s some of the early model R32 GTS. not 100% sure on the R34. the red badges are on the type-s GTS25, so it's not a "turbo" thing. here's a set of black badges for ya
  7. was wondering when you'd put that up john... way to rub it in.

  13. pretty much spot on there, i have an aasa license and although i wont be a contender for top spot; i feel there's a lack of competitiveness and the only track that kinda gets a little technical is the sprint circuit. i shall look into the hscc, someone has pointed me towards them before and suggested that i give motorkhanas a try. thanks hrd-hr30
  14. gosh... i'm such a hermit!! spend months studying and you even fall behind on nerdy stuff.
  15. just passing through

  17. i found this line funny for some reason... you contradict yourself so many times on the forum; one day its A the next day it's B. so obviously some people won't take you seriously, you understand right? respect.
  18. i've had to re-attach my fuel sender onto it's bracket twice now in a time span of one month. i've done one skidpan day and two track days. each time it's fallen off. now this is pretty annoying as the fuel tank isn't a simple 10 minute job. has someone got an idea for a more secure/permanent but removable solution? i'm assuming that it's the fuel sloshing around which is knocking it off. all of these results have others saying to just clip it back on, i plan to be upgrading to semi slicks and other suspension mods - so i'm guessing i'd be holding more sideway G-forces in future. what do you drifters normally do? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=fuel+sender http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=fuel+sender http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=fuel+sender http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=fuel+sender http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=fuel+sender http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=fuel+sender
  19. nothing?
  20. here's mine. 20%
  21. just got back from a wet track day and found a bit of water swimming around the space saver. found that the water is coming in from the plastic guard for the rear windscreen motor. i'm guessing a rubber seal of sorts needs to be changed, any ideas for a part number or alternative remedies? cheers eug
  22. rofl @ warwick
  23. my braided lines are ADR approved. made on the spot by a mob called mobile auto hoses. all positives by my count, the only negative would be that the braided lines actually keep heat within the lines. be sure to run high temp fluid if you intend on doing track work.
  24. i'd be interested. can we do a co-ordinated group buy? hahaha yeah it's a little old school isn't it. although i'll admit that i like the look and it is a nice/different touch.
