chaos? who de fark is he? wont be running (exams), might drop in to see a 1000HP gtr though
-
gosh! even braided lines for the windshield water spray. nice

not comparable... i'd take the s2000 hands down. the honda is in the league of 34 GTT territory, and even then it's a little of apples and oranges. the s2000 out handles, out powers and simply outclasses the 25GT. information on the R34 25GT can be found searching, what is it exactly you need to know? price? power? fuel economy? modification potential? practicality?
-
just to reiterate what gordon said - supporting mods are a must... many seem to lose sight of this and wonder why they're forking out more money after they've rebuilt their motor.

liking the bonnet lip... been looking for one for ages!

Mounting 6x9's In Series I R33 Gts25t Coupe
Eug replied to jUsT-dRiFt-iT's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
http://boschmannusa.com/productView.asp?productID=6 wow.. they really do claim 350rms, it's a pretty big call... never heard of this brand though. -
pete, i think he was about 1-2 seconds off his gtr time... the integra is quite a nifty package. you would be correct haha, a little tongue in cheek... don't get me wrong. they are a sweet car, it's the instant status some think they attain by driving one. <--- see there. not really that quick, just quicker than some... it's a little friendly rivalry. not bad for a first timer eh
-
wicked! minus two turbos, minus 100cc, minus awd and STILL faster... bring on the next track day!
-
correct... but most often than not people just make more and more power to compensate. how many people do you see with egos that go: "i want 500hp"
-
everyone is correct... i've driven turbo cars - they're cool. i love them... still doesn't appeal to me to have one though. if i wanted one, i would have gotten a 32 GTST. the general point i'm trying to get across here is that, all too often MOST (key word) GTST owners shun the GTS owners, and all too often the GTR owners shun the GTST owners... it's like there is some sort of elitist title associated with the car you drive. having said that, there are GTSTs pulling off bullshit GTR times around the track, and likewise with GTSs pulling off GTST times around the track. it's a never ending vicious cycle. certain people buy GTRs and instantly think - f**k yeah... yet when they are passed by a stock NA supra, a GTST, GTS, etc etc... they sit there and make up excuses to keep making more power. the best mod you can do is improving driver skill... there's no reason to knock on other people because of the car they drive. as to an NA making a better driver - this is not always the case i agree, but i have found that driving a slightly underpowered car has made me look for making up times in different ares; taking the correct entry line, entry speed, exit speed, suspension setup, braking, etc. this thread asks why people would choose to buy an NA, and the reasons have been presented and justified. we certainly don't want to hear "get a turbo" for every 2nd post as it just leads to a never ending battle of: get a vtec, get a 6 cyl, get a turbo, get a v8, get a v10, get a v12, get a w16, get a top fueler... give it a break seriously.

spot on buddy.

why should we listen to you... you're just a mere RB20 owner...

Whiteline Sway Bar Issues.
Eug replied to FineLine's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
hey noel, yeah you'll need the pins. also the mounting position on the blades will affect the settings, so it's not entirely based on bar thickness. -
you know full well that i'm not out on a personal vendetta or anything. but i'm sorry to say no that you do not have full control of the car. with the car stalled you have no power steering, and braking is very limited. that aside, being in full control of the car still doesn't justify it. i'm thinking oil pressure could be your problem? not sure, i don't know anyone else who would try/think to do something like that.
-
a car going from almost full load to nothing in less than a few seconds - it doesn't surprise me. stalling the car means no steering and no braking. glad you didn't hit someone... try it on the track next time. i dont need to remind you, that you're an idiot.

bring on motorsport week!

just thinking out loud here. seems like the NAs no longer get the fuel efficiency they used to. wonder why? back when i first got my car, i'd get 500km+ easily... 600 when i took it for highway, easy drives. is it the fuel or the age of these cars? two of my mate's gtsts (one is stockish, runs high 13s. one has 250+rwkw, runs mid 12s) both get something like 400-450km/tank driving off boost.
-
if the R32 (vspec) are brembos then they're slightly bigger, if non-vspec - then they'll be exactly the same as the 33gtst
-
i would be interested too... looked into DVRs and they seem to be the go'er with decent resolution and fps and will also allow good quality audio. like you said it's very costly. can you adapt those reverse parking monitors? or are they too crappy?
-
how bout you get a v8
