  4. may or may not be calling as soon as i expected. we are currently trying to source an open diff's driver's half shaft (30 spline) which will fit into this diff. as mine apparently won't fit.
  5. try searching the forums, there's a lot of different ways to get your non turbo 13 second 1/4 mile. my mate did it. you're looking at as cheap as $1K to $10K depending on which way to go. :lock:

  8. on a side note: i thought this thread was about noel's "goodbits" oh how wrong i was. are you the one building a 3 litre twin cam? or have i mistaken you for someone else? by all means enlarge the oil galleries and rev the RB30 to 8k, i bet you'll get approximately 2,000rpm shy of that. more mods are required to get the 3L bottom end to rev to than the 2.5L bottom end. there is a great deal of difference in approach and costs. harmonics anyone?

  13. they all do... but what better way than to check for yourself. people just weld off the VCT oil feed in the head, then tap into the oil gallery and run an oil feed to it. the r32 rb25 head is beginning to be a rare item. search, it's all been covered before.
  14. very impressive cara, they've done well for custom stuff. look similar to the ones the rest of us have. what are the sizes of the primaries and secondaries? hopefully those bends won't affect too much flow. here's something to compare to...
  15. no idea to be honest... i personally would have paid up to $13-14k for it. there's not much of a market for them really, it's flooded with $8-11K garbage. not to mention the fact that every other wannabe would rather/can get a 200rwkw for next to nothing. the clean, straight, low km, stock examples are far and few between.
  16. pretty hard fetched to find one sub 100,000 as they are well into puberty (13+ yrs). a clean r32 gts25 will be sweet... genesis's old one was just sold again recently (immaculate).
  17. they are about... definitely can use a turbo model one (although i think theirs is slightly smaller - due to intercooler piping, more restrictive? unsure.) i'm looking about for cheap spare/broken one too... i have an intake idea that is simple yet effective.
  18. i'm after a workshop in brisbane who specializes in differentials (would be better if they are cluey with japanese imports), more so in our r200 diffs. searched and got: i'll need to get: - the crown and pinion swapped over. - seals? - get the backlash setup - will also need to ask if r34 gtt and r33 gtst diffs are interchangable and if any half shaft issues if any? splines? - approximate costs to get it all swapped over. any workshops? or anyone that can give me an idea? cheers

  22. can't help you with the test drive - but SK's setup is definitely a great medium with comfort and performance in mind.
