great to hear Cara, sounds like you're getting a heap of work done. window tint is definitely worth while (esp in a black car)... i now drive in aircon'd comfort without getting burnt! would be interested in getting pictures of your extractors, and how they designed the primaries and secondaries. that said depending on their design - don't expect any sort of significant power gains (maybe only 5kw). try to concentrate more on how the car drives before and after. how it pulls, how smoothly it revs, how the mid-range feels, etc. keep us posted!

correct... i have driven other turbo nissans with more than 3x the power level i have - and i'd have to say that driving in an NA car in and amongst the turbo cars makes you a better driver. while force induced cars are oh so sweet, a lot of new owners tend to automatically think they are "fast". in an underpowered car you're constantly trying to keep up and honing your skills, trying to extract seconds here and there... not to mention that you can spend more energy in getting the right lines and steering control than worrying that your right foot is going to spin you off the road. the best mod you can do is driver improvement.

saw an RS6 on the weekend... would love either the 4 or the 6, they are horny cars.

He sent me a PM yesterday a few hours before you did - and according to Aust. Post calculator it's around $15 delivery, and he's basically giving me the $100 i want for it (opposed to your $95). It's fairly clear cut - I will let you know how it goes. Springs SOLD pending payment.
-
it's a gtr front strutbrace - and it's sold sorry. i have a rear strutbrace but am using it. i will go home and check for you. however carasky has PM'd me first, will let you know if it falls through.

wouldn't have a clue...

interesting i've heard very few things about this... apparently its the most responsive, most all rounded turbo you can get? but the price hardly makes it worth it?? or am i just spouting?

the standard 180SX and S13 caliper/rotors will be the same (if not similar) to the R33 NA caliper/rotors - that the fronts are twin piston sliding, and the rears are single piston sliding. most of the guys on nissan silvia end up upgrading to the sumitomos. slotted rotors will increase brake performance - but why be half arsed about it all. S14, S15, R32 Type M, R33 GTST, etc. will have 4 pot sumitomo fronts, and 2 pot rears. depends on where you want to go with the car, drag, drift, circuit, motorkhana, hill climbs, etc.? from there i can give you a hand in deciding. for the record i've done the turbo caliper upgrades on my R33 NA. see below

no you cannot just top it up, if you have air in your brakelines they need to be completely bled.
-
supra is too heavy - wouldn't be doing yourself any favors. ideally you'd want something with decent brakes so S14 & R32 would be the "entry" level type car.
-
damn that sucks to hear. i'd hazard a guess that'd you'd be a little tight on money - however a type-m 32 shell would be the go'er. (better brakes) spend a little money on suspension, and the lighter weight of the car will definitely make more of that power to good use.
-
scroll down for the answer... there's some weird people out there.
-
sounds like you need to rebleed your brakes.

Brake Disc "loose" - Is This Dangerous?!
Eug replied to Greg's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
yeah no worries there greg. normally if the rotors are stuck on solid (over the years) there is a threaded section in the rotor to wind it against the hub to loosen it. -
I have a spare NA front pipe lying around in my shed i believe. I try to arrange some pics tonight if need be. Prices? No idea to be honest, I cant see it costing more than $20 - but that depends on who it is. Some places don't even want to deal with something so small, because it's hardly worth their while.
-
sounds like a sweet conversion! not sure exactly which one you want to change. do you want to modify the header flange to suit? or the exhaust flange to suit? any exhaust shop can fix one up for you for a small cost.

It's well and truely clear over here, stop coming off like your some kind of hardcase. The lack of a spot at skidpan/etc days are partly your concern, because that's what being part of a club is all about. Regardless, the skidpan day will go ahead with or without you (or the other guys that pulled out) i'm not just focusing on you - as to who will bear the costs that will be decided later. I'm not asking for YOUR spot, there are other spots available and a waiting list managed by Paul. You do not seem to understand that a club is composed off MANY people. So get off your high horse and be a team player!
-
we all have lives outside our passion to deal with, and while you might be starting a new job or have something critical going on in your life - sorry to say that isn't my problem and i don't care, it is something YOU need to deal with without dragging others down with you. if your name is down for the track day, then i suggest you put a deposit down to confirm your spot. however if you don't go then i suppose you can sell it to someone OR it is forfeit and offered to those on the waiting list (that is Paul's decision and not yours). i never mentioned about the days conflicting - i'm just stating (and confused) as to which it is you are actually attending and which you aren't.

Front Top Camber And Caster Bushes...?
Eug replied to G3TFKD's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
whiteline bushes will suit your application nicely. i (and with many other members) use the same bushes. -
Dude, I have no idea who you are, never been on your runs, never met you and what not. Despite that fact, you have one of the worst attitudes I've ever encountered. What's it to me is... that you are HOLDING valuable positions in which you may or may not intend to follow through with, and that my friend is what shits me off. By all means get involved with the club, set up mountain cruises, go on a skidpan, go to a track day, etc. but dont hold others back from the oppourtunity to participate. I have seen you pull out of the skidpan event 2-3 days prior to the payment deadline - we now have a skidpan event which is down two people, and I am chasing more people so that OUR (yes yours and mine, and all the other members) event will still go ahead without OUR club having to fork out more money. Track day is on the 17th of May - less than 3 weeks to go, and I am waiting for a position to open up so I (much like you) can have my first track outing. You haven't paid a deposit, nor have you expressed further interest in partcipating and yet you are already expressing interest in a mountain cruise with comments about "going fast" on the 20th of May. See the irony? Personally, the image you are portraying to me is one of a selfish narrow minded GTR (will never lose) boy racer who thinks he can do this track day, that skidpan day, this dyno day, and that cruise - and that's fine by me... but a little common courtesy goes a long way and there are more than just GTR owners in this club. On a side note; I expect a lot more maturity from someone your age. Actions speak louder than words - show them a thing or two.
-
and factory bilsteins. i'm sure an inspection is more than welcome. on a side note; Track day May 17th Skidpan May 19th "AWD" cruise May 20th which is it?

who are you kidding, the owner of that supra had his car for like 1 week!
