  1. black 33 sedan with a spider on the bonnet, driver didnt wave, but the rear passenger did. had an sau sticker on the windshield i think.
  2. new power figure dyno dynamics modifications: standard panel filter, coby extractors, 2.5" cat and 2.5" cat back exhaust, matty spry tuned safc2 power: 115.4rwkw consensus: panel filter and an intake idea and i'd be done. wouldn't recommend going any further with power mods, despite the coolness of cams, cam gears, port and polish - costs would be astronomical for minimal gains, you would also be looking into a proper ecu to make the full use of them. extractors dont give any sort of peak power, but driveability and fatter mid range is very noticeable. with the retune reving is much smoother, power delivery is nice and "free", definitely a much better car to drive. peak power is only a number. future mods: would stick to drivetrain mods; lightened flywheel, shorter diff ratio, lighter tail shaft - try to make the current power more useable.
  3. are you being serious?
  4. you surely cant be this lazy? can you? Nengun AU$820 http://www.nengun.com/tomei/exhaust-manifo...san-skyline-gtr Tomei website 85,000 Yen or USD$940 according to their site http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/inf/pdf/64_ae.pdf
  5. i'll take the subie one delivered to brisbane thanks.
  6. you'll need to remove the interior trim. child restraints, speaker brackets, hidden bolts accessed from the boot area also might help
  7. i'll give you tree fiddy... i have a stock one sitting here too... it's my phone book paper weight
  8. noticeable difference?
  9. 33 calipers are better because they're bigger. both have the same degree of easiness to fit. 32 rotor diameter is the same as s13/180sx/gts25... i've heard of drifters mix and matching 32 calipers with s13/180 slotted rotors - saves you from redrilling everytime, and a little more variety in slotted rotors
  10. has anyone had any experience in swapping to a 1 way to 1.5 way aftermarket diff (usually for turbo) in a non turbo? have driven a mate's r33 gtst with a cusco 1way and i reckon it's very very cool. the rear end feels predictable and solid, and ready to step out at whim. into an r33 gts25... i can see it being sweet - but, another mate reckons it'll be useless unless i'm breaking traction and that it's just a waste of money. my car is setup for tight circuits/hill climbs/mountains and motorkhanas. it's got turbo brakes, slotted rotors, braided lines, swaybars, locked hicas, pineapples, castor bushes, camber bushes, strutbraces, and sydneykid's bilstein/whiteline package. already the rear end is solid and very throwable with 255s, but i'd to know if anyone has done this and if it's a worthwhile mod. the current LSD is still holding up - and may be on its way out, as it open wheels very very rarely. want to see anyone else's thoughts: - what did you get 1-way? 1.5-way? 2-way? - which brand did you get? kaaz? nismo? cusco? - was it worth it? - what improvements in driveability? - what was your application? - would you recommend it? - was driveability like in a gtst?
  11. mate are you really going to do all this? even when you ask all these specific questions, and get specific answers such as above - you still doubt them?! it seems that you're set on copying the mines gtr build - if so, just copy it? each car is different and not one specific build is the "ultimate build" not even the mines gtr.
  12. ohh just wondering how much from just jap? and when is their expected delivery? etc etc... Yeah I didn't find what I liked from fujitsubo nor kakimoto... i like my stock gtr twin pipe stock look, and quite liked the legalis r on the sedan. wonder if the muffler is the same measurements from coupe to sedan (vice versa) and only differs in the length of the pipe from the cat to the muffler? a big risk to buy... the hunt continues.

car is going to matty spry this week
  15. nice work... any details on the exhaust from justjap? as far as i know the legalis r only comes twin pipe for the 34 sedan. any idea for a 33 coupe? the db readings vs. power readings really take my fancy. 84db is perfect!
  16. do you really have to repeat the same question over and over?!!?! just speak with your mechanic/tuner
  17. this may or may not help... but i have charles's msn - he hasnt been online for months. but in the case he does here it is: [email protected] spoke to him extensively about trying to get some wheels organized and i didn't really trust his character and never went through with it.
  18. yeah saw the jdm imports thread... major bummer. was hoping you'd get it soon - i like the stockish twin pipe look. was very keen to see how it sounded/performed.
  19. agreed... when i spoke to jim - he practically guaranteed his full monty WILL NOT slip.
  20. try a search - it's been covered in depth and in extensive detail
  21. maximum of $10,000. same as having a gutted cat. emissions, flames, noise pollution...
  22. ok i take that back.. they arent all over the place.. they are decent... although i suspect that they've been rounded off to the nearest 10. 20-25 apart would make me personally unhappy. i'd be aiming for +/- 10. here's an idea of other peoples: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2851103
